Lena music and political splash texts removal patch for Minecraft

this is a resource pack that removes the political splash texts (BLM, genders crap, etc.) and Lena's music, but retains the other composers' tracks because the troon's compositions don't fit in with C418's music.

supported versions:
  • 1.18
  • 1.19
  • 1.20
  • 1.21

How to apply the pack
  • launch minecraft
  • go to options > resource packs
  • click on open pack folder
  • copy the zip file to the folder
  • extract the zip
  • go back to the game and it should be there

    - restored "Also try Terraria!"
    - removed "Wooo, Reddit" and restored it to "Woo, /v/!"
    - removed COVID crap
    - removed BLM crap
    - removed LGBT crap
    - removed "Music by Lena Raine!" (his music is not in here anymore)

    note: all the music files inside the pack that replace Lena's music are blank. you can replace them with any song you want provided they have the exact same filename.

Probably unpolular opinion, but I feel 377 and 378 arent all that bad. They arent explicitly about gender or other political stuff

I'm not sure when exactly but I first discovered it back in 1.18 while I was looking for a way to remove Lena's tracks.

the images are just to show what kind of splashes are in the game. there's like 50+ political splashes in the game afaik. the resource pack removes those.
 
This will make Minecraft worth playing on PC, at least. Minus Microsoft's ToS bullshit.

I guess all things considered the first political one was the SOPA one, which no one cared about because people were pretty united on SOPA.. The rest of them basically all started in the covid era and then BLM sealed it.
Also I appreciate the meme priconne version, because those tracks are actually listenable compared to anything Lena Raine has emitted.

the music files in the normal pack are blank. you can replace them with any song you want provided they have the exact same names.
I'm gonna add a note about this in the post.
 
If I remember correctly, they also removed some splashes that were there before. Maybe we should add those back in as well

Fyi, 1.8.1 is the last version before M$ bought MC from Notch, that's why I chose it.

Damn thanks for this, never really paid attention to the splashes but the new pigstep disk certainly didn't fit in.

It's one of the phrases they've nabbed in the block it's in it's all about trans brainwashing acceptance so you're welcome if you're trans is the message.

I suppose so. Still we use "bad" messages all the time so I think is how you choose to read it as. I mean considering how explicit about it some other messages are.
 
You're doing the lord's work Meemoo, keep it up fighting against the tranny agenda! In fact, i'll download this for my 1.20.1 modpack to make this more bearable for me so i can at least not see the stupid LGBT crap in my game anymore. We need more mods like this in the very near future because i'm so sick, tired, and absolutely offended by pronoun retarded assholes with 20+ mental issues in their brain ruining my favorite games today. (If Terraria 1.4.5 update drops with the removal of gender options, i'm not playing until someone make a mod that adds in the the Male and Female symbols back) Also, it would be nice if you add in a splash message that says "Body Types? Nah. Two Genders? Hell Yeah!" just to rub the salt on the open wounds on the lefty side. That'd be glorious. As you know, i still remember Notch (the OG creator of Minecraft) and i'll never forget about him. He deserves all the credit and still is to this day. Fuck pronouns, embrace normal traditions and people.

Microsoft might just remove the ability to do this when they find out people are getting rid of their "diversity" messages on the splash screen. Also removing that diversity hire's music is appropriate, they didn't get that position in the company because of merit, they got in their because of Blackrock's influence.

Since no one probably has any time to work on this resource pack, I'm just gonna post a link to Nostalgia Tweaks here. It doesn't remove political crap like the splash texts, but it is configured by default to only use C418's music. You can also bring back spamming combat and the Alpha title screen, which is nice. They seem to still be working on it, so hopefully it will update soon.
