Censorship Persona 5 Royal on Steam Pozzed or nah?

Hey everyone,

It's been about half a year since Persona 5 Royal was released on Steam and I am wondering if anyone of you tried it. I am extremely skeptical about all Persona releases after 2021, since I saw that a very
infamous lolcowlizer vandal somehow got her ass into the lolcowlization team for Persona games that released last year and I really don't wanna throw my hard earned money into a game that was vandalized.
So here I am asking if anyone who played it saw any vandalization or woke red flags?

I dunno about the localization but I personally prefer the non Royal version. The extra ending scenario is kinda dumb.

I've played both on the PS4 back in 2018 and then 2020. While Royal did have some improvements, there were some cases where it was just made way too easy. Also Royal was more or less a 90% copy paste of the original one, the only difference being a few more characters, places and one extra ending. Since it took them several years I thought they would add a whole bunch of new stuff. Guess I was horribly wrong.

The only thing that comes to mind is how the scenes involving 2 gay men hitting on (and presumably sexually assaulting) Ryuji were changed in the English localization so they aren't "portrayed in a negative light". It wasn't that way in the original Persona 5.

Finished Royal on Switch and yes, it's so fucking pozzed that I'm surprised the usual haters in resetera still find something to complain about (mostly Anne design)

The whole game is about becoming social justice warrior, anyone denying this probably haven't played the game themselves. You spent a good 80 hours trying to correct what your team deem is "wrong" with society and then fix it with what's essentially magical brand of mass-brainwashing. Then Royal story happened and the game pretend to forget all its earlier message and went into a whole uncharted territory of "free will", conveniently bringing back two fujobaits who have shitty motives and excuses for what they did. (Btw I heard they're making an exclusive game for Akechi too, imagine how much the fujos are wetting themselves with excitement)

It keeps hammering this message ad infinitum : "adults are rotten" then in the Royal added storyline the message somehow perplexedly change to "we should decide our own fate", probably because the big boss there was one of their buddy-buddy.

Worst of all ? For a group pretending to care about justice and equality, they don't really mind too much about having a murderer among them and letting him boss them around like a bunch of braindead children that they are. It's proof that they don't really care much about justice and it's more about "me and my friends generation" versus "disgusting, stupid, old boomers". Also it seems to have this weird view about yakuza, trying to sidestep on making them out to be extreme villains and more like fearsome vigilantes. I guess that rumor about Sega being in bed with yakuza might've been true.

Seriously, the amount of hypocrites and nepotism in this game just wants to make you puke once you get past all the admittedly excellent and shiny gameplay and start to notice what they're trying to make you believe.
