Don't think there was a thread made on the so called and i use this term loosely like hot dog down a sliperly floor loosely because it always happens to the be the same thing every month with the lgbt shit in persona.

The ones usually discussed is Naoto being a troony even though that isn't the case at all and Ryuji being dicked on by a gay couple and forcing him into drag and in a way this must be how we early learned about lgbt predators going after minors and forcing them to do all kinds of weird shit. Kanji being bisexual too is also a subject of discourse and now get this, Ken and Femc are a problem now......

All of this is just so beyond fucking stupid and we can honestly play a drinking game to see how stupid it all of it is and how it should honestly be avoided at all times and yeah, what do you think about all this "discourse" and how stupid it is.

This is very true. It's one of those games that you should play on your own and enjoy official media for, but holy fk stay away from the fanbase.

My guess would be that the protagonist is supposed to be a relatively blank slate the you project yourself onto on top of all the other character liking the protagonist no matter what. It's an appealing fantasy to a lot of people, especially those as unlikable as said retards.

I've played 2,3,4 and this one definitely felt off, a lot of time it seems to take itself too seriously and party members feel like some kind of narcissistic brats that are out to exclusively get anyone they deem "bad adults" while accepting murderer into their rank just because he had pretty face and isn't an adult ? It's like taking all the bad things about P4 and amping it up by ten, gameplay is fun but the story as it stands feels like pile of preachy dogshit.

This is coming from a smtfag. Persona 5 is Hashino's attempt to one up Tadashi Satomi and failing, every aspect of the game can be easily summerised as style over substance, everything is half assed and lacks bite, the characters were meant to be "modern replacements" for Persona 2's cast but is just unlikeable because of Hashino's talentless writing.

It attempts social commentary like 2 but bumbles it's way through with the subtlety of smashing a hammer on your head.

While I can kind of forgive 3 for being different, 4 & 5 continue to build on the worst aspects of 3 and to me is an unfunny parody of the world Satomi built, I would be angrier but Hashino can't create anything worthwhile without someone holding his hand like Cozy.

Yeah i often seen complaints of it online that persona 5 was too "harsh" on the grown ups.

Also all those villains you found are very one dimensional and was unbelievably stupid especially the politician guy who had all the tool in the world to dispose of the Phantom Thief (it's revealed he even had a connection to Yakuza's hitmen and had been using them to get rid of his opposition)

I'm almost finishing this game but unlike other SMTs I found myself too tired with the game's constant parroting of SJW message. In the end it wasn't even about fighting for social justice, just some shlock about free wills and whatnot (even though the final boss isn't a bad guy and his agenda is actually a great proposal)

So on a persona server i'm on one of the mods justifeid jk rowling deserivng to be harassed and lol has a history of insulting and cussing out users and well..... i reported her ass lol for her bad behavior online. She deserved it.
