But yeah sarcastic shitpostery aside, this is something thats been kind of a viral in all the wrong ways possible statement ubisoft has made in a long history of dumbass statements and its really going to show how much creatively bankrupt they are aside from the ocd with assassins creed.

Gacha retards have already been supporting not owning games for a long time. They seem to have some kind of defect in their brains that makes them think it's completely different from this Ubisoft bullshit though.

Just like with EA I'm surprised people still buy Ubisoft games.
It's the same slob, over and over again. Just on a shinier plate (better graphics). Also the CEOs of the companies say some shit I would expect from some cartoon villain.

As always the best way to to prevent this shit is:
To grow a spine and when you say "I won't buy a Ubisoft game again", that you then don't make an "exception" when the new (e.g.) AC comes out.
It's not even hard to do that! I've done it for years!

Also on a side note:
Ubisoft made arguably two of the best early 3D platformers with Rayman 2 & 3 and has done nothing with them! How can it be that of the big ones only Mario really has new games coming out? At this point Ubisoft should just sell the rights to Rayman, so that someone who cares can make a proper new one.
