Fucking greedy corpses want to sneak this shit bill through their big bills where very little opposition can be mounted. They want to "protect the kids" from "harmful things" but this bill forces sites to track their users which completely violates that claim and in order to protect kids they have to know who is using the site which means all of us would be under surveillance. KOSA would authorize a federal study on creating a device or operating system level age verification system, “including the need for potential hardware and software changes.” The end result would likely be an elaborate age-verification system, run by a third-party, that maintains an enormous database of all internet users’ data.
We are fucked. The only option left is deep/dark web assuming that bypasses government blocks forced on your pc.
