To basically re-iterate what was said earlier there is no such thing as true friendship or trust between any of the Vshojo or Ex-Vshojo members. Like there is a good chance that Nyanners would trust Tob, Mouse and Haruka to be left alone with Aethel while she is gone for a day but would not have any trust to leave Silvervale, Vei, CottontailVA, Snuffy and Momotexx with Aethel for a day. I even think Soda and Asmongold would put Aethel on their lowest tier trust level based on their current relationships they are trying to work out.

Some anonymous users on 4chan users stated Aethel went on a speech about how you should not treat your streamers like their GFs. I mean he makes a good point, but it would be better to keep your community within nyanners, mouses and other flesh tubers boundaries than extending it to other Vtuber communities. Example of what I mean let's say he starts doing collabs with Selen, Fauna and Gura for like a week if given the opportunity. There is an absolute 100% guarantee that dragoons, saplings and chumbuds would go apeshit by just doing quick research on him like checking his entire twitter. I don't like Nyanners the most next to Froot here but even I would feel sad if her own heart got shattered compared to most of the Vtubers I watched because of her looking like the most delicate flower that it would cause iron mouses own motherly instincts to always keep nyanners close to her as support.

We have seen the Vtuber expos, most are not the best looking out there, others have obesity issues and a lot of guys like to dress up as female vtubers over there. The I am a 4chan /fit/izen chad with a /fit/ audience is not as big as Aethel thinks it is so he might need another approach in boosting viewers because the number of times he got shilled before didn't help him. The I am not the problem, but you guys are all the problem approach to goslings doesn't really help much either. Its more of an audience selection problem, if he didn't start flirting with women before he met nyanners to being in a relationship with her now he probably could have been like the next Vox Akuma of twitch pandering to a Fujo crowd(before Vox got the Rosemi yab) or he should go for the flesh streamer approach and study why Soda, Hasan, tfue, XQC, etc, got so big.

For companies who manage them ? That is a true question. Maybe they sell enough merch to make it profitable - and they make enough of new ones to keep the people spend their money for it.

For Indies themselves ? I would say it depends on their own financial situation. Like many content creator, they start to do it as a hobby, then suddenly they get traction and it starts to demand more time to make it work that it is basically another job. By this point, they just try their shot and see how far it will fly. The really smart ones will make sure it stays on course by reinventing themselves across the years, explore new paths and keep those that work.

Yes, no matter the gender, the easy path for online entertainement is the horny (Cb and Onlyfans are proof of that), but not a surprise since more than half the internet is just porn that keeps on being expanded and added to an immense pile. Fuck-boys and ethots will come and go, but those who can provide more than that will stay the longuest in the business.

Upfront? Despite what you guys are saying and believing. Thot-tubers aren't actually the biggest on the platform. They're just easily visible because clippers are REALLY skewed towards horny shit and horny shit is the quickest to get reposted and shared. Doesn't actually equate to success. I say this because outright speaking? Who's the most popular vtubers in the West right now? Let's think on it /hard/.

Ironmouse: She's an obvious one. She might be a little horny sometimes but you cannot say that is her main appeal in the slightest.
Filian: Another obvious one, chick has some slight-nsfw content during collabs but her main appeal isn't sex appeal either.
ENHL: None of the Hololive girls are horny and half the time they discourage it. (Ina just did.) I might be wrong about this partially but I wouldn't say any of the HL girls have HORNY as their big selling point, not in the West at least.
Nyanners: Bitch is bigger than I wish she was. She also isn't really that horny either. You can't say she's followed for sex appeal.

Let's roll out some clearly thotubers.

Shylily: I don't think she's a bad person, but her claim to fame was being cute as well as being incredibly horny. You CAN'T say Shylily's aggressive horny didn't play a massive part in her rise to prominence.
Vaebae: She picked up a boyfriend but she was horny as fuck in her early days. She should be 'sfw' with Nyanners but I can't dismiss her origins.


That's it. I can't really think of any other Horny Vtuber on the Western Scene who's MASSIVE. (I'm talking 1m followers or close to 1m subs. Shit like that.)
People think about Snuffy a lot, but she's a smallfry. Her actual following is smaller than fuckin' Froot's. Melody got outshined by a lot of the girls ages ago.
Silvervale? Buffpup? Tricky? Layna? All signficiantlly lower in following and kinda insignificant even.

Anyone is open to reply to me here and point out girls I might've (and likely) missed but....my overall point is despite all the current doomsaying. It has been physically shown time and time again here in the West that the horny-tubing doesn't really get you that far. It gets you a niche audience that is SHARED between a LOT of other horny-tubers. If you want to be a big Western Vtuber, you need to sing or be good at arranging collabs with other talent.

Vtubing is pretty over saturated right now- but what's the MOST saturated is by far the horny-side of it because that's the part of the genre with the most inbreeding in terms of newblood into it.

And fortunately there genuinely is a lot of new girls that have popped up in the past year or so which are more or less focused on entertainment via charm over via sex appeal.

Hell, personally from me I'll admit Idol Corp's been decent so far at propping up fresh talent lately. Rin Penrose/Yoko Yurei have ended up being girls I watch consistently lately and both deserve more exposure/are steadily getting it. (Ironic considering Idol Corp fucking started out of Israel initially with its first Branch being Hebrew.)

Closing note from me here guys, don't let the endless circlejerk drama of thot-tubers control your view on the genre as a whole. There's plenty of streamers which have no rrats or drama going on and are just going to be a good time.

Snuffy: She is basically considered an honorary Vshojo member and my latest research has shown she has the worse yabs of them all(which is probably why Vshojo didn't accept her I think). Vshojo: They can be sort of be accused as a politically motivated kind of organization like funding for Ukraine where people can list the organizations as being CIA backed. Ironmouse and nyanners following AOC and Bernie sanders on twitch and closeness with Hasan or Snuffy liking his shirtless photo and Aethel saying that is his bro before. Nyanners having the USSR anthem on her myspace and praising Stalin before. Vei, Froot, Zen, Mel and Kson made some political comments. She can basically make Vshojo look like pro-democratic socialist supporters. U.S. is like half republican, half democrat and considering democratic socialists are not that big that might further divide their audience interests.

Dont get me wrong there is phase connect drama among the members, but all their drama is more like a tragedy (probably why they are called the sad girls company) and I dont see any kind of evil intentions behind them same with the nijisanji, hololive or idol corps members. which is why I never cared much about them on this forum despite starting the threads (except the nijisanji one).
