It's a common misconception that if a White chick dates a non-white, she suddenly has lost all interest in White dudes. 2. Pasty White/European chick

Entertainment is such a strange world; it only exists because people are bored and don't want to deal with their own selves.

As much as we can go on simps, they are just like a lot of average people; they pay for entertainement. They pay to be noticed, just like others will pay to have the front seats for any sport games or a concert (and the price of those would make most simps feel inferior). Let's not forget also how much podcasts became a popular thing. Like it or not, a lot of people just want someone else to fill the void of their existence.

Hell, we can add religions/sects, as most demand that their own followers pay their 'dues/taxes' for their 'religious community'. And that can go from 20% and higher on their net gained salaries.

Vtubers just happen to be a new thing to add on the pile of entertainers the world got to exploit lonely suckers. Some creators can be good, but most succeed by just being 'popular' and the crowd effect do the rest.

I believe that back when she started, Vtubing wasn't even a booming business, so artists and riggers weren't plenty as now.

Maybe she never bothered to remake a new one, or maybe skin colour isn't something people want to bring with their Vtuber personae.

I put my own reply on Ninjisanji rrats, as I believe it is more the audience toxic parasocial ''GF'' who cling on Vox who assisted a colleague/friend than an actual relationship going on.

Potentially more a Luxiem issue than just Vox, I think.
