Japan ain't a terrible country. I do think Japan has a problem when it comes to being overworked, but in general Japan has a better stance when it comes to honoring their cultures and traditions. Westernization will be Japans general downfall if that really happens.
Japan in general had little to fear from Covid because most people aren't obese there, and in general better health than the rest of the world. The main problem with the pandemic was that it produced mass fear, and most governmental parties are just trying to get votes by so-called finding the solution towards something that would have died down eventually anyway.
Japan also isn't the only country that is hiding the excess death's. My country is refusing to investigate, and people that got side effect were told they are on their own and they themselves willingly took the vaccine. The most interesting will be is to see if those excess deaths were by the vaccine. Personally, I have little to fear because I am unvaccinated.

Well I don't think so.
Japanese traditional is just " peer pressure ".
