Strive is the only GG I didn't get, mainly because Dizzy isn't in it and is unlikely to be added. Especially if the devs are just going along with what they think the rest of the world wants, they probably won't add Dizzy to the roster. I think ultimately the bigger takeaway will be to not be socially pressured into such situations in the future. A lot of shit bags in our society hide behind these virtue signals as a shield and they'll be forced to face the music once its gone.

Well it's less a bad ending and more a neutral ending, it's not the true ending. It's the most common ending to get.

You get that ending for wining the first fight, losing any round, and then beating the last stage.

It's a fucky situation.

The true ending aka the hardest to get ending has an extra boss fight. Which I'd take that as the cannon one, but to get it you need to not lose a single round.

There's 5 Endings? I think.




Lose first fight lose last fight("Grooming—") potential gender change.

lose first fight, win last fight ("No gender, focus on the future") no gender change



win first fight, win boss fight loss a round ("I'm a girl end") gender change.

Win all rounds, lose to final fight ("do what will make you happy in the Future") no gender change mention

Win everything ("You're strong now Bridget" true end) no gender change mention.

More than anything this situation it shows how misinformation is common with that community and they will not hesitate to overreact to the smallest of crumbs.

Prime 1 Studio is releasing a new figure of Dizzy so there's a chance she'll show up in strive, what I expect is either she'll still be wearing her Xrd outfit minus the ability to remove the shirt or a severe tone down for "modern sensibilities".

GG Xrd was already a sign of things to come.

Just look how they covered up Dizzy in Xrd compared to her design from the classic games.

The real hard evidence we need for this to all be a joke taken out of context is the JP GG World entry for Bridget.

The English Version says "Her yoyo" and uses female pronouns.

If the JP version doesn't use that it's a case of bastard localization taking jokes out of context.
