Discussion Anyone else played the re games?

Question in title, me personally i played alot of them since i was in high school starting from re5 to now most recently re6 on the switch even tho i have it for the ps3, i just wanted to get the triple pack that had the original re4 in it lmao.

I played re3 on the ps4 recently too and it sucks alot and its the weakest of the remakes re2's remake on the otherhand while testing it out on the ps4 to see if my used copy works while i'm saving that for the holidays i really liked alot and its my personal favorite in the series so far.

the prequel games re0 and re1's remake specially with the trevor family stuff is pretty fucking solid too imo.

And overall my expiernce with teh series is pretty fun, what bout you guys got a favorite game in the series too let me know.

re6 and re5 were the ones that jumped the shark the most for me and its more like the opposite where they keep adding plot after plot especially the cgi movies to the point it becaomes a retcon catastrophe

I was opposed at first and still feel a slightly more faithful design could've been great.
I do think the new designs are pretty good though. Especially Ashley! Her design really grew on me and I prefer it now.
The worst part is Ada. Would've loved to see her in a dress. Also the VA absolutely sucks. It's like she shotgun applied to roles and got one she liked the least.

I heard that they were to some degree forced to hire her, because they wanted to go with union VAs. (Don't quote me on that though)

Out of all games i've been reccomended, silent hill is the most reccomended game i got and i wanna get into the series one day especially with 2 so who knows maybe i'll find a copy of it at a gamestore at a cheap price and i'll pick it up right away.

I can imagine, SH2 is pretty much a classic game. Although, most people played 2 and only 2, which is a shame because all of the Team Silent games (1-4) are great, but most attention goes to SH2.

Really? i personally think other silent hill games get alot of attention too it really depends where you're hanging around with.

Downpour gets lot of atttention for the wrong reasons best i can say is that korn and akira yamoka working together was epic.
