I've looked into that tweet and I still have questions.
1. Why is ArcSys shy to confirm Bridget is 'trans' (read: groomed) yet not so shy when they endorsed Black Lives Matter in 2020?
And 2. Why is the American Twitter account speaking on behalf of Japanese customer support, whom the alleged fake email was attributed to?
I just saw the JP tweet, so I'll stand corrected on that. But they're still cowards.
Sounds like an internal dispute or they don't actually care. If it's a dispute, it would mean someone higher up is probably putting their foot down on Bridget being a boy, because there is no reason to not jump at the PR move of claiming Bridget is trans.
Oh definitely, they're not confirming anything, despite the fact it has caused a bit of controversy. They just need to make a statement on this situation and everything would be over. But instead they're leaving it ambiguous, just to get both sides. It's honestly a scummy move they're just trying to profit off everyone it seems.

It's no longer a case that developers don't know how they're tampering with the English translation (and other languages too).
They are simply ignoring it for the sake of wanting to be more successful, at the expense of despising and alienating older fans.

Like we know for a FACT now that the translation was changed. Just it wasn't the I'm a girl line it was the lines before that.
The translation was supposed to be I'm a man for when he corrects The fed, but they translated as I'm a boy.
Man != boy
And if he was meant to be a trans woman they would have used a line that uses the word woman instead of girl

We're kind of forgetting an important thing, Japanese devs don't give a shit about any market outside of Japan. They outright make all of their money and profits domestically, all other markets are just the cherry on top. They don't care if everyone in the west is up in arms with every game release because of a bunch of incestuous faggots running the lolcowizer companies.
Also, all this stuff is just causing people to hate everyone involved, which means more hate directed at those who wear reddit flags. This is ultimately a win in my book because I'm not affected by any of it. Any hate directed at twatter users, especially since 99.9% of them are faking their "gender" and "orientation", just makes me happy.

As I understand it, otoko no ko's still see themselves as 100% male it's just that they wear girly clothes and act girly. I don't think they would be mad if Arcsys said Bridget was a dude since they know he is.
Also I think Arcsys doesn't say anything because they've already said everything. In the Japanese game it says on Bridet's encyclopedia page "男の子である". So I don't think Arcsys has to confirm anything since in-game they already state that he is a dude.
If you ask me this sounds incredibly astroturfed

Honestly, the best we can hope for is that this whole trend will die out the same way it happened with lobotomies or society will move on just like for example with the early 2000s and emos.

This is the tweet in question, it's just weird how the timing matches up, the harassment part is appearantly because of some execs getting caught harassing. The other policy the diversity and inclusion one doesn't really make sense unless the company has as they say gone woke.
I do not trust the diversity bit at all, the harassment one can be explained away by the actual event that happened. The other one is just so sketchy and the fact it happened after that bridget article in EN so we know the EN branch has some troons already, it's a slippery slope of diversity to censorship.
