Well she did give a warning called, "respect my collab choices" so it was a stupid idea to unicorn to her to begin with. But she can always do a 180 degree turn later if her wallet starts to feel lighter than usual. I think that's what Mori and Kronii did after Vesper and Magni chose to graduate and I don't think they collabed with males again after that since I dont keep track of their shit that much.

I will just go be a jailbird for Nerissa because she is like the only hololive member that coombaits.
Imagine if instead of wasting money on surrogate girlfriends, guys spent their money on something that's useful, productive or just generally good for the world.

From what I'm seeing, it's less about the fact that she's collabing with males and more about the fact that it's Jurard specifically

I am new to this, so I don't really know what he did. Can someone please fill me in on why we hate him.
I watched the Monhun collab from Iofi's POV, jurard is very fucking loud. Not like that matters, vt calls all but a few of the holostars "homo sexpests" which translates to this guy got close to the object of my lust and he didn't have to superchat her for that attention.

With that the only holololis left are Laplus and Biboo. Not sure if Mizumiya counts, she insists she's not a loli.

I swear to God, if Fishman got Senzawa to sign onto Phase, I don't even know what to think, other than good fuckin' job man.

Sure there will be controversy between her streaming between either twitch or youtube and twitch might be hungry enough to offer her money to stream on their platform

Oh look, another "disagreements with management and company direction." But don't worry guys, nothing wrong or bad is happening at HL.

My only concern from this point onwards is if she can go back to streaming regularly as Senzawa and what platforms she would stream on.
Edit: holy fuck, swallow a gun you fucking grifters.

I do not follow much Hololive EN other than Gura for Hololive JP it's usually Marine and Miko and i do watch Phase Connect more for the EN VTubing scene end due to them being much more relaxed. But with Amelia Watson retiring into the background and Gura right after Hololive Cover went public in the Stock Market should sound alarms for everyone to begin finding alternatives. Phase Connect and VSPO are good spots. For everyone to look into.

I would not trust Hololive EN, I would cut all purchases and unusbcribe but be vocal about the fact they are not catering to the Core Audience with the direction they are going and if they do a survey much like Video Game Companies do answer honestly and if they change back support them again if not still hold back. Money, Surveys and Attention matter to these companies. It's what they live on.

This is just a theory on my end. But I have a suspicion that most likely it's the Shareholders sanitizing the product and the Western Version of Hololive agreed to do so and kind of appeal to a "broader audience " in America the Shareholders very much about appealing to Blue Ocean Audiences than Core Audiences especially if something is popular which means appealing to no fun allowed Hyper Conformist Zoomers that hate Loli and the Shareholders are Boomers who have zero clue about the Industries or things they invest in. This could be false but I feel like this is something we are seeing a pattern of in Video Games, Anime and VTubers. Corruption of our entertainment and selling out to Blue Oceans than making things that repels them.

The best thing anyone can do for the future is try to gatekeep the Blue Ocean out in other VTuber Agencies and not allow them to go public until they have investors to prevent any takeover. Make it things they would hate and we like overall. Buy Merchandise, give attention and respond to Surveys to make sure these VTuber Agencies stay ours.

With Cover being publicly traded, they're legally required to make money:

Oops, looks like Gura just existing was making them money.

Gura is Hololive. I am going to take a guess Mori is up next as with others. Too many Boomers who know nothing about VTubers and yet only know how to make losses in Entertainment.

They also don't understand the talent. Gura is a shitposter, to make money, just leave her to her own devices. Same with Calli, she's a workaholic, she'll pump out music and network like no tomorrow.

Cover could have made a bunch of money and reaped all the profits, but fell for the "investors" scam. Now the girls have ever increasing deadlines, must live in Japan, and must come to the office daily for practice/meetings. They took something that would have passively made money and turned it into a factory.

I guarantee that these choices lead to Mumei risking her ability to speak to try and keep up, and it's only a matter of time before more have to leave due to various reasons.

I can agree that's the thing everyone does not notice or see. There is people who make fun of Gura because she is absent for 6 months out of the year but she always comes back with amazing 3D performances and ends up still creating great livestreams people enjoy. Mori as much as I like to rag on her does create good music and shows up.

But ultimately like you mentioned they fumbled it hard by going public and selling out instead of enjoying what they had. I mean being Private has its issues but nowhere near as bad as going public. As for Mumei I agree. This is just going to be a NIJISANJI tier of where everyone leaves and graduates but it's basically S-Rank to the third Generation of talent. Also I do feel bad for Gura because this feels like it was forced on her and not that she wanted to leave.

From what I heard, *supposedly* Hololive was legally obligated by some contract to go public due to how they got their initial funds or something. Not that I believe they couldn't have just paid back the original investors and told them to fuck off with their contract.
