Maybe a separate subforum for Artists where they are the only ones that can make threads and another for sharing art would be good, similar to what I have in my server

What, kinda like a place for dumping their portfolio so people don't have to dig through threads to find stuff?

This could be my inner weeb speaking, but is it possible we could standardize the other reactions to follow the anime style? For example, here are some suggested replacements:

I can provide others if necessary, but I think these would be a good fit.

Since my last suggestion was well-received, I have returned with another idea for expansion. As there currently exist a few neutral and negative reaction options, there are only two positive ones, with the majority of people defaulting to "Like" in that case. I suggest adding some or all of the following options to expand the diversity of choice for the more agreeable posts. I have no idea if there's a limit of how many you can have, so apologies in advance if we are at or near the cap. Point values can also be determined as viewed appropriate, though +1 for each seems like a good start.

Of course, I know you're dealing with migrating the Pleroma and such, so this is by no means an urgent request. Just a thought to entertain when feasible. As mentioned before, I have plenty alternatives, both static and animated, should you want them.

A Skeuomorphic Aesthetic design for the website, what more to stick it to twitter than to revitalize the soul of the 2000s web design.

Minimalism is overrated. I get avoiding gaudy design, but I actually want more than 3 buttons on the screen at any given time.

Suggestion: Add a "Localization" prefix, "censorship" doesn't quite fit

Suggestion 2: Allow the use of multiple thread prefixes (if the forum software allows)

[all the emojis]
I'll get around to that eventually :hinata-acid:

I have 0 clue what you mean by that

Any way to have bigger reactions emojis as an option ?
In 1440p they're way too small.
Yes. I can make a different theme

if it's possible I could design UI elements.
I'm not sure what you mean by that?

There is a plugin for that.
About 30 bucks + 15 renewal cost every 6 months(?).
If there's demand I can get it.

Something that may keep threads more focused, especially in regards to SPICY topics, is a sort of 'no holds barred' section; for topics that are meant for essentially you bitching your heart out about a topic that pisses you off and others can reply and you can bitch together without bogging down other threads. Prime example is here, where it starts out about the thread topic then spirals into tranny bashing, losing what the thread was initially about. They can take that convo to a different section/thread MADE for it.

I had brought this suggestion up for discussion with the staff, though at the moment only Grönsak and myself have offerered opinions. I agree that a specialized sub-forum as you mention could be useful for enabling people to discuss frustrating topics while maintaining the integrity of the original thread. Alternatively, the Misc sub-forum could be purposed for this. Another potential solution might involve a megathread for bitchposting in general.

Personally, I find that the Dynasty Scans thread had indeed gone way off-topic and did so from the very first page. A lot of what has been discussed is adjacent to the original topic, but as the thread progressed, posts have grown more and more fringe to outright irrelevant. I very much encourage people who want to go on these sorts of tangents to make individual threads for them and perhaps link back if you feel it is truly relevant in some form to the mother thread. There's nothing wrong with having the discussion, but it should be had in a more fitting environment.

In the future, should you or anyone else see a thread moving away from its original topic so radically, please contact a moderator that is tailored to that specific sub-forum (as can be reviewed in the Current Moderation thread). I don't exactly know how the "Report" function works, so private messaging may be the preferred method.

Edit: I've reviewed the report feature and got Halo to enable it for the rest of the moderation team, so this is indeed a viable option to get someone's attention.
