I played the demo about four or five months ago. My thoughts in no particular order:
>Love the character designs, both for the cute lolis and mean monsters
>Story was pretty much nonexistent, but since it's just a demo that's acceptable. I definitely would've liked more characterization of Nobeta herself though, I understand they don't wanna reveal too much about her yet, but I feel like I barely know anything about her other than what her panties look like

>I haven't played Dark Souls so I don't know how accurate "loli Dark Souls" is, but the game is really tough. Enemies and levels are pretty manageable, but the bosses are overwhelming. Even the first boss took me like five tries. At the risk of sounding like a game journalist, I actually think they got a little too hard. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they were badly made or unfair, they all had a good variety of attacks and I liked the risk/reward of getting in close to hit them with a staff to quickly regain magic, or stay far away slowly regaining magic. But they had an incredible amount of health to the point where it became it became less of a test of skill and more a test of endurance.
This wouldn't be that bad except if you lower the difficulty,
you can't change it back. I got filtered by the second boss and after the seventh try, I lowered the difficulty from normal to easy so she'd have less HP. After I won, the following level was easier than the previous one since the same enemies had less health! I'd say lower the amount of health bosses have or let me change difficulties anytime I want, preferably the latter.
Overall, I definitely enjoyed it and I'm excited to see where it goes. I just hope we get some more characterization and no more needless restrictions on difficulty.
