Today I searched "eromanga sensei" on YouTube, and looking at the results, I see some anime youtubers saying it's 'trash' or 'worst thing ever'. If you are familiar with this anime, you would know why - it's because of lolis.
So this question came up on my mind: "Why are Americans so obsessed with pedos?"

I live in America and I can tell you that it's usually due to misinformation and also that people who attack usually do so to low hanging fruit than to find actual pedophiles or are that themselves. Let me detail 3 circles.
1. Low-Info- they do not consume Loli or understand it but parrot the fact it is Pedophilia because others say so and have not done their research on the characters or even watched the content. This is generally all fandons in America. They prefer to be apart of the scene and have no clue of what they talk about. It's always about control and be popular a position of authority. It's very feminine in nature but it makes sense because they are uninteresting people as a whole and have no real hobbies. It's sort of like recent meme makers who think everything is a reference to something else.
^ this right here is very common with Anitubers and Fandoms who are very vocal. It's like they do not even read or watch the content. But make it up, act like they are superior or have some sort of imaginary high ground over nothing. There is a reason why nobody here takes them seriously and just goes to 4ch /a/ all day or other places. Because people will consume what they like regardless of what others think. They are like the Political Correctness Crowd they do not buy anything, they just pretend to buy merchandise and be apart of a scene to exert control over content and communities.
2. Those who are very moralistic about Loli being bad are often pedophiles themselves. There is a reason there is a meme called Reset The Clock. Because it happens every single time. All pedophiles usually will point and say X and Y is pedophilia when everyone else looks at them like they are short or cute characters, they have very exaggerated proportions and are not realistic. But they can not differentiate so they say it is because in their world it is. Often the FBI here busts into their HD and finds TB of 3D CP content.
3. The attack dogs who are lazy slacktavists. Why even go after real pedophiles when you can just attack Loli content and say it's all CP. It's just easy and takes less time to do so. Make yourself feel better about how pointless your existence is. They also seem to forget irony when their own profile photo is a loli or they re-tweet Shota content as well. Probably because it's all a giant virtue signal.
America is ironic in of itself that makes me surprised at times. Neo-Puritanism has done a number on people here and it is not a left vs right issue, it's a extremist zero sum with no shades of grey issue. If East Asia understood it for what it is they would just ignore these people as a whole and make what they like.

There is times where the site can be kind of a circle jerk and be not much different than the moralistic left wingers as a whole but attack things they clearly do not understand. Essentially creating a horseshoe effect. For example Leftist types conflate fiction leading to reality because they can not help but to go after real children and have CP on their PC, While some of the Kiwifarms types seem to push that fiction is reality. All drawings of Lolli are indeed real people, if you post anything like it, you are indeed a Pedophile, will go after children, and drawings must be protected at all costs which sounds very much like a moralist pearl clutcher that takes things too seriously online or thinks everything is real the slippery slope fallacy. Seems very familiar to me. well, at the end of the day, i'm pretty sure, if i recall correctly, the origins of that site wasn't to document lolcows for the good of humanity to warn others about the dark depths of humanity or anything holy or altruistic like that, but to find amusement in how the scum of the planet behave

Exactly, originally it was about Chris Chan with CWCForums, then it expanded outward to other Lolcows due to laughing at lolcows, and how stupid they are despite not learning anything from their mistakes. But nowadays it feels like it's much more about "look at how much i hate this guy/lady because they are the opposite of my worldview" or they take people too seriously when they joke about things or it's taken out of context like with Pippa.
That is a solid point, I do think a lot of this is them trying to find a lot of targets and interest, knowing that the userbase is in decline because i am noticing a lot of these things are senstionalism, almost to the point of attention grabbing and creating a community around that, than anything entertaining. Sometimes it's just best to focus on some things that make sense and that actually draw crowds, not on things that are just what everyone likes and say you dislike it. Then again this might be what desperate sites do nowadays. Yeah they were initially a forum dedicated to chris chan but it evolved into more lolcow focused and as time goes by, the more a community grows the more cancerous it becomes a tale as old as time.

I can agree. It was not always this way but now I am realizing why I never go there much anymore. It's just Null chasing after ad-revenue than caring about the sites culture. I would not be surprised if KF eventually turns into a place that is not much different from Resetara with the exception that there is barely any bans. They also hate lolli and fanservice as well.
They do act like lolcows something I always noticed was they use a moral high ground and try to look better but it just comes across as cringe with the whole. "I might be a furfag who ends up watching furry porn but at least I don't have sex with animals" when it's just the same thing really, it's distinction without a difference.
A house divided can fall apart, but without clear cultural standards it becomes like everything else in time.

The problem with kf is that behind that "internet troll" veneer they have its mostly just a bunch of tradcons.
Gatekeeping should have been the standard but unfortunately there are those on our side who kept conceding to these woke-puritans (aka large corporation controlled zombie) and now we ended up where we are today. The same thing that happened to Marvel, D.C, and other forms of entertainment will now slowly rot away at anime. This is why it's important to let anime studios know that if they go woke then they most definitely will go broke because the customer always votes with their wallet.
Tradcons are simply the old guards, wokies are the new guards, and both of these types of guards need to be kicked out of the castle.
oversaturation tactics are one of the easiest to pull off for any sufficiently big group, and one i've noticed for a while now.
troons particularly liked to use it back when i bothered to engage with the loli flamewars.
they do the tactic in both ways -- they ignore all the bull's eyes thrown at him (that being practically all of them are actual genuine pedophiles), defining the "misses" (that which can't be reasonably verified with available knowledge), while any cases where there happen to be a lolicon who is a pedophile (like dicey) are the only ones that matter
it's also effective because they like to change definitions as well: defining all the bull's eyes as under different conditions (and thus invalid) as all the misses, which by defining all misses as being under "valid" conditions, the fact that someone hits 97% bull's eyes can appear to be "bullshit" and "fudging the numbers" (ironically), while they also liked to define all lolicons as pedophiles in the opposite way, in their favor, where so long as they're able to find just a single, lolicon who happens to be a pedophile (still really haven't seen one other than dicey so far ever since), they can define it as the sole valid case that can be generalized to everyone else, while everyone else is simply an invalid case due to "dishonesty" and whatnot, and thus the few cases they can cite (often that includes miyazaki, ignoring all the fatal flaws in everything about it) are the only "valid" cases that "count," and one positive out of one valid case (which includes, for the sake of appearances, the whole picture: other cases, which are presented as invalid and thus not in their count) is effectively 100% in support of their point.
the only reason such tactics don't work in the very long run is that they can't change the genuine history and continued rates of each bull's eyes and misses per issue, and eventually, any fair measurement done by a reasonable fair person, in any era regardless of prior knowledge given to the extent of complete lack of it, will eventually lead to the conclusion they're full of shit -- all they can do is continue to manipulate the perception of reality and its phenomenon, of which i can't deny just how effective it is on the general population
in the end, "persistence eventually leads to some results" applies for about everything. i'll imagine at some point kf will find some lolcow and extend their life more, but the returns are diminishing.
