It's Meru being selfish and trying to use the women card like Katrina is trying to use entry-ism when the reality is the industry is better off without them and tired of their nonsense PR and dumb takes . Plus do they really think they can compete with AI in the current environment? Or even the demand for higher quality translations that are authentic? It's just something they need to consider because the times they do-a-changin.
Why not use AI if it get's rid of the middle man who does not care about the industry but instead tries to gatekeep it and tell everyone from Japan to the West that "everyone needs us" in order for these censored, butchered releases to come out and with political insertions and memespeak? I mean literally if anything i will be celebrating because it's kind of obvious everyone is speaking out online, that they would rather have an AI and a bilingual Japanese man do it than to have the middle man do it, because AI can learn and evolve, the middle man does not and their wages keep rising, including the censorship and the antagonistic rhetoric to people calling out censorship and bad translations including political statements. They are so desperate they have resorted to botting and nobody will care in the long run, money talks.

I pretty much just avoid them at all times like i do with everyone else in general even b4 the plandemic lol.
The way i see it is, costs are getting too high and the Japanese economy is not doing so well to afford such overrated luxuries like VA, Localizations, Censorship. Also take into account the Blue Ocean(Casual Audience) is not where it used to be defending this content anymore. They have no choice but to make the decision to do the right thing and cut out the middleman, in-house their editor and go with AI.
Dead Internet Theory is true for Social Media nowadays. I am not even on Twitter and have not since 2019, but even I checked around and not many use Twitter it's just bots and alts, most use Instagram and Telegram or Tiktok. But I imagine the userbase not being very high because normals looked at social media and just said "no way".
1)We can just be like 4chan honestly and if they're funding nendoroids and good smile to keep on making them we can join in on the fun getting wealthier members around here and fund places like play asia or nin nin game giving them our money and not crunchyroll instead lol.
