It is quite common, that awards stay with companies, lables, etc. but this kind of award should go to the talent. Especially in the cases where they end up deleting the channels if a member leaves. Like are they just gonna throw them away?
As someone who never had a YT channel with mor than ~10 subs I would be pissed if I reached this point only to never even be able to see it in person. Might as well be a NFT at that point.

well for people like shu yamino and a couple others, they started as nobodys with 2 views per stream and then joined niji and skyrocketed with subs in a couple months

I added my answer to Blackjack subject here instead of the Boyfriend thread, as I believe it is more a case of toxic and clingy fanbase lost in parasocial relationship with their 'boyfriend'.

Vox Akuma poor situation with his fanbase isn't something new, and it is actually going on for quite a while now.

With his impressive voice actor talent, which is way better than Athel, there is no surprise that Vox was well known to do ASMR, expecially RP as boyfriend, even on stream.

In May 22, the Reimu incident occured during a stream BF ASMR that sent his fanbase in a uproar and went for her hide, with death threats.

Vox responded to his audience that '' you and I are not in a relationship''. He also expressed serious concern that his fandom became toxic and was promoting harassment. His fanbase didn't seem to care, as Vox apparantly took a 'break' in September that year. In Dec, he also reinstated his dislike of the toxicity, but that didn't seemed to bring results.

As far as I'm aware, in Feb 23, Vox went on a prolonged hiatus and stopped completely his ASMRs. I heard he's back some days ago (maybe it even happened in march, but if so he went very low profile since).

So I believe his 'girlfriend' mentionned by Blackjack is more his fanbase who felt cucked by Reimu showing up during his stream.

I also saw here and there that a lot of the Luxiem boys seems to have gone on respective hiatus/break. Possibility of a widespread issue with their target audience ?

It's legitimately a common misconception that the majority of the internet are male users.

Technically there's actually more women on this planet than men. This is possibly even true on the internet. Only issue is that women are insular and also just...softer? Guys are prone to fucking around and doing stupid shit. This extends to browsing sites like 4chan, liveleak, this forum, etc. Women don't. They watch puppy videos on youtube and browse various social media sites for hours. So there's easily THOUSANDS of girls out there who are complete and utter 4/10 NEETs or just chicks with 0 energy to go out and try mingling with dudes who will relentlessly cling onto random hot-voices on the internet.

Shit. Look at League. It's one of those games that has a substantial female userbase and you can ask any veteran league player. 19/20 League girls are clingy annoying e-whores.

The remaining 1/20 got unironically married years ago and still play bot lane with their husband to this day. Not an exaggeration. I've personally bumped into 3 different couples who do that shit. (given, 3 out of....HUNDREDS...)

I just can't trust people who give to charities. You either have a mission or are oblivous of how far your money actually goes.
