Pixiv gets pozzed

gg, it went mainstream enough to reach this point... but honestly, Pixiv went mainstream years ago when we started seeing a lot of western and CG art flood the cite.
I kinda wish it was JP only and I was forced to learn to read and navigate the site in Japanese just to use it.

Nowhere is safe, it seems... in the future, will we go back to networks and writing down our favorite websites, instead of going to these centralized services?

Japanese companies need to start demanding common carrier rules for VISA and MasterCard. Perhaps their government can start flexing its muscle on the credit card giants.

Apparently, Pixiv is now banning certain artwork that now contains certain keywords like "JK", "Slave", or "Lolita."
Not everyone but this artist had some of his work censored.

I think them banning lolita and not loli or lolicon (yet hopefully never) is because some chomo was posting cp under that keyword some weeks ago. I dont remember if it was that keyword exactly tho so dont quote me on it

The other two are just absurd though, slave specially Im pretty sure I can find stuff like that on fucking pornhub lol

Credit Card companies have too much power. It is insane to me that they can just say shit like "Yes this is legal, but we don't want people to pay for it with our cards". No wonder there is a huge kickback from suits when it comes to alternatives.
I wonder just how hard it would be to make a new credit card company (to be fair if you are the one company that says "yes you can buy porn with our card" you already will have plenty of customers).

Probably a credit card thing if it's hitting Fanbox exclusively. Wild how we just give credit cards the extrajudicial means to deprive somebody of finances and we just go along with it because it hits the 'bad things.'

I wonder if it's just the card companies under the swift system and non-swift card companies do not demand stuff like this? Could be possible alternative.
We could always go straight to Monaro and entirely different website to support our favorite artists, that is if the artists are willing to migrate there.

edit: also will this effect Abmayo's artwork? I wanna still support him.
