Vic busts his ass to find MORE voice acting gigs for more pay, and doesn't pull publicity stunts that would put him on blacklists. He also markets himself to find more work, leading to more jobs and garnering a bigger audience.

Vic has basically been blacklisted ever since he lost his defamation lawsuit against his accusers. None of his old workplaces will hire him after that, so he pretty much has to take whatever gigs he can get. And I think he recently lost an appeal on his case, so he owes even more money to the defendants now. The man is definitely not winning.

It really is sad story, honestly i kind of blame Nick and Tye for this. They effed up soo much of the filing it is ridiculous.
And now those harpies will screach to high heavens how they were right. Sad really.

Tye messed up, yeah, but from Vic's appearance on the most recent Flashcast, it seems that he has stuff going on for him. Of course, he's been completely exiled from the current industry, but he's not just sitting idly waiting to be let back in. Regardless, my sample still stands because it's not just Vic that goes out to find extra work. Look at how many shows your favorite anime VAs are in. They do more than one thing, and it seems like Hellena Taylor wanted to sit pretty on the fame of Bayonetta, even though that franchise barely made profits.

Plus we now have her own admission of lying, sooo... I guess that brings this chapter of industry shenanigans to some level of closure?

Stop spreading this lie that Nick fucked up the filings. He is not - and never was - Vic's lawyer.
I know that he did not filed anything, but he recommended Ty to him, for me he is partially to blame. I agree, my wording was incorrect, you are correct on this one.

Wow it went from Hellena being hated for an actual good reason. (She lied and tried to actively harm a studio and fuck it's reputation and future up) to a political thing to justify the hatred damn. Twitter will never cease to amaze me.

Oh they were making it about US conservatives seconds after they learned more about her. They numbnuts claim she did all of this to destroy the Union and not just because she's greedy.

yeah man let me voice bayonetta lol durr you should pay me to be sexy in a proper british accent as if that's hard to do. I could have doing that for breakfast if I'm to be quite honest.

In all seriousness I know nothing about this controversy beyond the original claim. Is the game any good? It sounds like they added a bunch of bullshit to it from what I've heard
