Personally, I get it, the Japanese people in there don't want their favourite franchise to be pulled because some jockey got their knickers in a twist.
Having said that, every franchise is being pulled lately for absolutely asinine reasons and getting precious over it just means you haven't been paying attention to what's been happening to media in general.

It's not really suprising since Shizu has a history of trolling these fucking retards when they were having a meltown because of a drawing of a smaller character that quite a few times wasn't even 100% confirmed to be an actual child character, but was just a lolibaba/midget.

I even saw a case when there were faggots reeeeing at an artist for making Nezuko from Demon Slayer an big tiddy onee-san. I'm not 100% sure but I think the artist was Sakimi-chan.

I think this case is a little different since cygames technically does not "own" the characters as they are based off actual racehorses. Think azurlane or kantai collection but in this case there are outside parties who are not particulary familiar, or even friendly to otaku culture

I backed Blade Devil too, wonder if it's gonna come out before the summer. When it comes to Let's End the World I guess Merry prioritizes churning out quickly the pages so RGE can post new page every monday and friday as well as being it related to Merry's artstyle, simpler and less detailed tho I presume it still takes some time to make these pages. But I don't think it matters too much the comic is pretty fun and probably Merry will redraw some of the panels for the physical edition that RGE teased several times.
