Their argument always boils down to enforcing their personal preference on others which is why they can't give an argument why fan service shouldn't be censored.

I'd love to find someone actually answer that question. Since I sometimes post R18 art on Pixiv, I can tell you first hand that censorship takes MORE work. It feels dirty to do, too, because the original product has to be literally vandalized to appease some arbitrary ruling. When stuff gets censored, you have to spend more money in order to remodel, retexture, revise, etc. And then there's a versioning complexity that gets introduced when you have to manage a version that is censored, another version that is censored in another way, and then another one. Yet... there are so many proponents of censorship. Maybe it's job security lol.
It's like Male/Female sex selection in character creations. That's the standard, ordained by nature itself, so we use Male/Female when a player selects his or her character's sex (unless you're a literal sentient ball of fire or something). Yet... Body Type A/B is the new thing and if you question it, you get push back.
Then of course sexy elements get removed on the regular.
