Is there a reason you want to replace the hangout? Just curious.

As for features I guess some sort follow user function but I assume that was already planned.

-Add a way to download all media from a post
-Navigate a gallery with arrow keys
-Clicking on the next image in the gallery moves the images slightly
-When clicking on images make them fit screen

Good luck with the thing lol

If you have experience with Vue, then might be able to help in the future. Maybe.
I don't have any real experience with Vue to be fair. The last 4+ years were a combination of React, JS/TS and PHP.
But in my opinion the big three Frameworks are all pretty similar.

hahahaahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Sounds silly after reading it again.

because pleroma is not very good.
Are you planing to integrate it into the Fediverse or making it open source?

honestly just knowing how to program gives you a lead on me :cirno-laugh:

To be fair. The amount of people who "know" how to programm but can't write good code is absurd.
Honestly. Thats what I've seen 1:1 at every job I had so far.
Sometimes there is a "Revert changes from before since they made it worse" inbetween though.

Fediverse yeah eventually, open source no probably never.
Not a bad choice. Too many troons would want to change (remove) stuff and flood you with merge requests.

You're looking at the prime example... although after seeing some other peoples code I may not be as bad as I think

It's not about getting too many submissions or anything like that. The codes really only made to work on my machine (lots of quirks that need to be sorted to set it up) and I'll never put any effort into helping others run it so no point making it open source.

I mean that is pretty much one of the reasons why docker exists.

My current task at my job is to add features to an internal webapp, that some guy made before he retired. Indents are done seemingly at random, sometimes there are just 5 new lines in a row, ~50% of the code is commented out, comments are writen in multiple languages and i18n functions are used everywhere despite it not being used (guy probably seen em in examples and thought they are needed).
Thats about 90% of the "coders" out there. As long as you don't do things like that you're gold and overqualified for a job at a FAGMAN (Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Nrtflix) company.

Been meaning to ask but are most of the issues with the 500 errors and whatnot being caused by Pleroma just not scaling up very well? I recalled seeing graf post about how his server loads are worse because poa.st's backend is pleroma and after your instance hits a certain size you're better off using mastodon as a backend.
