It is interesting to see how many have dropped, but I would need more stats than the average. Some of these streamers could do at most one stream every two months and have a massive average at the end.
One good one to look at is Chibi. Her CCV was only 2.8%, but look at her YT as an example:

From the Vtubers I watched I think I have an idea why some of them took huge plummets and why others felt barely effected from those listed average viewer numbers.
-Vei and Nyanners plummet are self-explanatory, lesser streams, make all their content more about their BFs than having the same creativity they had before focused on themselves.
-Snuffy had consistent timeframe streams in 2022, but in 2023 it was all over the place which usually makes your audience search for someone else to watch. Whatever made her change her schedule was important enough for her not caring about losing 35% of her audience (huge profit decrease) which raises speculation that her situation is sort of like nyanners and vei.(2023 could be because of barely hanging out with OTK but they were still barely involved)
-Froot although did not plummet as bad as Vei, nyanners and snuffy still took a significant decrease which could be because of certain rumors spreading since her content in 2022 was no different than it was in 2023.
-Silvervale is sort of like a mystery because she was barely affected despite barely streaming like nyanners and vei. Hogwarts drama I assumed a huge left wing audience left her, leaving Vshojo I assumed the vshojo fanbase left her. Then of course asmongolds raids boosted her viewerships but the difference being she is not all over his dick like some other 2 vtubers despite dropping hints that they have some pretty well-known communication between themselves. - Vei & Nyanners had big numbers as streamers, so it is no surprise that with less streams, they took the heaviest hit of all. Snuffy was just going down the same road, even if not as popular as them. At this point, they may just have decided to be done, for their own personal reasons (relationship as the most likely), with the required consistance in streamers/influencers so they can still be on the map of a short attention span audience. And newer and freshly Vtubers are taking the slack for their own benefits. After all, entertainment is a competitive market. You snooze, you lose.
- Froot may not be hit harder because some people just like drama and gossips - and she (with her mother) provides in that department.
- As for Silver, she is just that overly-specialised streamer, more for a niche audience than mainstream (that ship sailed long ago while she was in VShojo). So her lack of 'big' lost may be more because she had her fall/door closed from that hype way before the others, so she was never able to rose at their level in the first place. I don't think Asmon seldom raids were consistent enough to actually make a difference - but it could have helped. For the communication department; they are gamers and engage in the gaming community. But yes, her involvement on discord seems to be what is keeping her afloat - but again - if there is no new blood coming in as her aging audience move on with their lives, her downfall will be a sure thing, just a slower one compared to others.

I also feel bad for Projekt Melody taking a big hit and I think she might take a bigger hit than Nyanners, Snuffy and Vei, eventually falling harder than Nazuna.
She use to be a 10k+ andy on chaturbate and the recent streams I saw she seemed to be like a 4k andy and of course charts showing she dropped to 23% in CCV on Twitch. To her luck, current EN adult vtubers are either complete dog shit, barely stream, barely sexually appealing models, or current sexual content doesn't grab a huge audience.

The twitch vtubers that i mentioned seem more like GFE to me but use 1-5% of their lewd power level in having 100s of coomers willing to throw away 100s of dollars. But luckily for Mel she has a gold mine next to her or rather an infinity gauntlet she can use against VAllure and that is starting her own lewd vtuber company. Her bisexual power would be great in selecting female talent. I remember there was a graph that showed she made like 300k from twitch before and that is not counting her patreon and CB cash. If VAllure invested with like 70k she has more than enough cash, connections and huge publicity to draw a bigger talent pool. All of them started to incline in 2021 with nyanners havlng like a 1000 point lead on iron mouse and vei was 2000 away from mouse and like 3000 away from nyanners. Even with the luck of oh thank god nyanners and vei are not as serious as me or they would kick my ass, there was also hate and contempt shown when Fillian or Pippas names were brought up to her on her streams. Anyone that suggests Mel start a lewd vtuber company (men have huge tastes in different women, melody can't cover everything by herself) on the side and that she can still stream and tell ironmouse that her content sucks after 2020 even if she got excessively shilled more is a true friend to them that won't lie to their faces.

I would not say that this is Pekora low key dissing ironmouse, but Pekora seems to only acknowledge the youtube and twitch streaming platform on who is the most watched female streamer as an award then the mythics awards hosted by Filian.

Chibi has the MASSIVE benefit of investing into a DEDICATED video editor for ALL of her streams. A lot of vtubers pretty much lose THOUSANDS of dollars in income because they're too lazy or cheap to spend money on editors to OFFICIALLY comp their streams into an edible format for non-stream viewers.
It was one of Nyanner's biggest strengths back in the day, she paid out to have her content brought to people who don't have hours to sit through streams.
That and Chibi's got the benefit of /usually/ staying out of trouble. Only rrat she has if I recall is her trying to say she isn't a lolituber.
Yeah that is a big plus that not many (even corpos) take advantage of. My only problem is, that her thumbnails are kinda samey and just blend into eachother.

He means that Nyanner, as a Youtuber prior to her Vtubing career, was certainly paying an editor for her videos and was still doing it. Which is a common practice for many successful Youtubers to pay an editor (or even a team of editors) for a while now.
And that a lot of Vtubers aren't taking this business lesson about success to heart and they are probably missing on an opportunity to expand their audience.
After all, not reaching out to people just for not being able to follow a stream for hours do prevent a wider the mouth to ear marketing process to be done with more benefits.
The only vtuber I am seeing change for the better or undergoing a metamorphosis right now is Froot. She is streaming more then usual, collabs with people more and has more song covers planned., playinng different games other then apex for a while which is why her CCV also got boosted to like 3k-4k. I know that froot and aethel for like the past year always had the same numbers like 1.8k-2.2k average CCV whenever they streamed. The sad part is Vei just does not want to stream more while nyanners and aethel are not changing the style of their streams to bump up their CCV like they need a new gig then the BF/GF shit. Besides here, I was also shit posting the graphs on 4chan /lig/, /vsj/ and /pmg/ and I am assuming aethel might have caught wind of that because nyanners kept inclining big on CCV in 2021, before it began to plummet in early 2022 dating aethel. I think at this point they should stop talking about shit like I moved from a town house to an apartment or being temporarily homeless getting kicked out of an Air BnB when they have enough income to make a 1st day reservation to a 5-star hotel while hiring male gigolos to run a train on them for a night with the amount of simp money they made. 4) make a conclusion that vtubers that talk about being temporarily homeless, living in a apartment, grew up in the hood, etc to not take them too serious that they are financially starving to make a living.
If a decent 100k+ viewership goes out talking about it might hit tem harder than going after their oilers usernames and making traces to their social media accounts while disclosing information to them that might make them change paths as a possibility. Besides Nijisanji disclosing 2% on merch I dont think other vtubers from other companies have disclosed their financial situation.
