Be it the anime, movie, game or books itself here's my thoughts on the stuff i've seen of it.

For me personally its fucking ground zero well one of them that is for why the world is pretty much total dogshit these days.

Ramona is a thot, and her exes are all fucking narcs and Scott is a self pity simp hat makes things more miserable than they already are and Scott especially loves chasing nasty women alot.

Knives was the only sympathetic girl and he was fucking manipulating her the whole damn time.

And sure its progressive, cause vegans get superpowers and women dating women means lot of abuse comes with it too. :/

Its set in Canada and made by Canadians and me being the "pick me" as they would call me because i'm honestly really not like those freaks at all like seriously i'm not and teh art is good and the game's music is good too but thats it thats all the nice things i have to say bout it.

That being said, what you think about the women ruining and men ruining too generation bringer called Scott Pilgrim?

Oh yea forgot to add the song

My first and only exposure to scott pilgrim was the Michael Sera movie. I remember sort of liking it then inmediatly forgetting about it the next day :shinobu_kaka:

Besides that the only other exposure I got was the rule 34 of it lol.

I dont care for it one way or the other. I know its sort of a milenial milestone. But I would say thats true only if you are american and/or can speak english.
Growing up in non english speaking country. We got different things that "defined" my generation.

Yeah. Michael Cera actually made Scott less of a dickbag than he was in the comics.

Like he was WORSE in the comics.

i think the only thing people still remember about that shit is the artstyle and the music

i only played the game and it's...
decent, not great but not horrible just like likewarm milk pretty bland.

I'm an American millennial and it wasn't even a blip on my radar. I only knew about the game back when it came out.

Really? i was just on the comments section of the scott pilgrim ruining a generation and i see lot of people remember it not for the art or music but for how much everyon sucks

the game itself is pretty much annoying than it is fun now in retrospect river city girls was fun in a gameplay perspective but too quirky and gen-z for my liking now in retrospect

The things that define gen-z are stds, onlyfans, raping minors and blaming lolicons as bad, munchausen syndrome and forcing people to be gay or else raped by a person infected by hiv and turned out as gay.

I'm a 90s kid who read that book in grade 12 so its not really that huge of a milestone for me personally.

Ramona ironically the reason why so many girls have lonelyfans on the note of r34 lmaoooooo. So much girls these days, have breaths reeking of semen and cunts reeking of fish due to the amount of thoery they do.

Thats true, Scott Pilgrim did not defined me growing up as a Canadian, nothing honestly ever does what defines me as a person well, a miserable fucking misanthorpic edgelord with nothing better to do in their entire lives but ldar all day lmao.

The only thing i remember was that movie with the Mark Zuckerberg actor guy. Even back then i thought the characters in that movie were all fcking losers lol. You know that's bad when it comes from someone who grew up watching anime and playing video games back in the 2000s.

The thing is though, those were different times. Those people/characters were losers to me but back then society thought all anime and games were for losers too. I just chalked it up to different strokes for different folks and forgot about that movie. Ignoring something you don't like used to be common sense.

I guess with hindsight you could think it's ground zero but that's only because there're people who wanted to used that movie's rhetorics to push their own agenda. Without those people the movie would just be a relic of 2010 that has nothing to do with current day society.

Michael Cera yeah and yep, everyone is a fuckign asshole that sucks here when it comes to scott pilgrim.

Yeah more specifically the mid 2010s and this decade the 2020s it would have been massive hot shit if it came out today.

Yeah honestly i think it is ground zero to the total degeneracy that we are seeing today.

I don't think Scott Pilgrim is the sole cause or ground zero for this kind of toxic behavior... I knew at least two women like this in high school, before the movie came out. They of course had serious daddy issues lol.

I do remember one of those women absolutely LOVED that movie though, which is hilarious because she used to bully me and others for liking manga/comics :cirno-laugh: And of course she loved Ramona. To the point of trying to act and dress like her, even though she never read the comics...:senko_disgust: God I do not miss high school

School always sucks ass full stop.

Reddit, twitter, tumblr and especially reddit simps for Scott Pilgrim alot if it came out today, it would be selling the same as when avatar came out back in the late 2000s.

Also pretty sure those girls by now would have lonelyfans and are on some underground e-kid server full of wannabe cringelords and thots there lmao.
