Are there any sites online that have a compilation of english translated anime, manga and japanese video games that haven't been ruined by localisers?

i wonder if halo would let us archive such things here? :anime-think:

i mean the only source i know to get fansubs and such is nyaa but that's a general japanese media torrenting site

why wouldn't i. what've I got to lose lol.

Er although, if we're talking about like... the files themselves that might be an issue since very very limited space.
Could do something p2p, start a varis tracker for people to use

hey if that's what you feel like doing
im fine with using nyaa every now and then so there's no pressure, specially since i imagine you're already busy with keeping this place and the fedi instance up

it isn't hard to do, i'm just wondering what the uh... feasibility is in terms of the servers. anime and games, especially in high quality would take up way (way) too much space, so a better method would be to have it be a torrent + tracker people can upload too.

Issue is then the OP would have to seed stuff, and idk how many people here actually keep their torrents seeding lol
