It's also about popularity. shittom of Evidence to clearly prove that astolfo is a man. But still they want him As their non binary/trans fem rep, despite fate having multiple LGBT reps.

Oh I completely forgot about this. Yeah this makes a whole lot of sense, because now ArcSys can simply say that Bridget is actually a girl, which based on how Bridget looks wouldn't be too confusing. I thought ArcSys' decision, pandering to two basically opposing sides was stupid, but now ArcSys has an easy way to make both of these sides happy. Although it's still retarded that they sided with both the guys that say they don't play GGST and the people that possibly couldn't even have access to your game / could easily boycott it for very stupid reasons.

Also the people celebrating ArcSys' decisions are the people who actually can only see in black and white. Troons and their followers will see a just slightly feminine dude or masculine girl and will always come to the conclusion that these people are actually surpressing their "true self" and that they need to have their eyes opened to a totally-not-delusional-and-reality-rejecting world. That's also why they loathe Traps and Femboys, because these are people whose genes aligned for them, making them look feminine, while troons have to rely on chemicals and mutilation to make themselves look feminine. Troons are exactly the people who do surgery to look like I dunno the Kardashians or some shit, just that they want to look like the opposite gender. Funny how we did two 180° turns on that topic in the span of like 10 years and now we're just back to sad people trying to achieve something that they never will.

Riot did it with graves and his cigar, ubisoft did it with Rainbow Six Siege removing references of drugs, blood and prostitution from some of the maps and also with Rainbow Six Extraction (or whatever that bullshit game is called) completely revamping the game to make it less violent and brutal. You can see it with every big movie including random chinese actors, removing mentions of Taiwan and Tibet and even making scenes exclusive to China to jerk them off even more.
The list goes on and on and since ArcSys already removed mentions of Taiwan from GGST we can be quite sure they also belong on that list.

My bad didn't have the actual interview only had a translated text, the way he talks about it through the whole thing seems like he implies Bridget's whole story was going to end like this since the beginning and that now the times caught up and it was the right time to reveal.
