maybe I don't know how copyright works in relation to mods, but doesn't make much sense to me honestly
I'm not sure either in this specific case with changing the text, but I'm pretty sure if this was using 3D models in a way, they could fuck you over.
That doesn't mean that they can't try to fuck you over anyway.
Hopefully that won't happen, but if it does, well, I'd say you should check out and see your options now.

Here's my theory, I don't think it's Nintendo just like how the previous impersonation on this site (regarding a GameBanana moderator) wasn't that. Something with the copyright strike just doesn't sit right with me. Nintendo would've taken down GameBanana by now and the dozens of Yuzu and modded gameplay videos by now if they really wanted.
But if you look at a few cases where people have uploaded their copyright claims from Nintendo, it says "Nintendo of America Inc.". This even goes for non-YouTube copyright claims, as shown here. I think something is a bit fishy with this claim. I suspect another case of perjury, where it's more braindead fancops/antis looking to take it down as a means of suppressing freedom of speech or freedom of expression. If Censored Gaming is reading this (I can't respond to the Tweet on Twitter for a few reasons), just know I have my doubts that it's actually Nintendo doing this. The YouTube copyright system is just hilariously broken to the point where you can impersonate someone or send copyright strikes to stuff where you aren't actually the copyright holder.
