A series of DS games that I found that I haven't seen as much nowadays is Dokidoki Majo Shinpan! The premise is a schoolboy who is simply searching for pesky little witches that are infiltrating a school, and there's a good amount of fanservice (including one that involves using the DS touchscreen), which might explain why there's no fan translations available. There's a sequel, there's a remake of the first game (Doki Majo Plus), and there were even some figurines as well. I think some of the artwork looks a little familiar, but I don't know for sure...

I remember liking that but then not being able to beat the final boss.

FF COTW is not censored. The fact people keep saying things without even researching is the most annoying part. Mai's design is the most fanservice it's ever been for the series, she has bigger boobs, less cloth and a bigger backside in this release than in KOFXV. This just keeps getting better and better as it goes on.

Here is an example

KOFXV

FF COTW.

As for the classic outfit. She still has it, it only changes when she does her super finisher much like Samus Aran from Smash Brothers for her Biker Outfit. Her boobs are also bigger in the retro throwback to her older outfit and shows more of her curvature.

Fun fact. Mai's Biker Jacket outfit was an inspiration to early character design art from the KOF Artbook.

Her outfit in FF COTW when she uses her Super.

This outfit has a lot of tight skin, tight fitting clothes, also her boobs are much bigger in this. The outfit is most likely going to be optional anyways. As for the Hotaru Super you have no real proof and are just throwing accusations around without again doing research into what you are saying, it's the same move it's always been unless you are going to say they do not show the face when she strangles a character. But if you wish to troll around and say the opposite, I will just enjoy my fanservice game, while you make yourself miserable by proclaiming censorship on everything.
That feel when SNK, a company owned by Saudis, is less scared of boobs than the likes of Capcom, a Japanese company.

In any case, I love the biker design.

I was curious so I checked the developer and found out it's SNK Playmore. To think SNK used to develop based games like this...but then again this came out before all the sjws found their ways into video games.

Another obscure game that I found with an interesting premise and gameplay: Hippa Linda (aka Stretch Panic in the US, Freak Out in EU). Made by Treasure.

The main character is Linda, who has a magic scarf, and the whole plot is just getting her selfish sisters' revenge (although they may be possessed by demons) in the form of bizarre boss battles (with some levels between them).

The graphics and gameplay are mostly simple, but each boss looked silly enough for me to care. There's also some goofy enemies with enormous tits that also propel them like a helicopter. It wasn't well-received back then, but that might've been because of the gameplay mechanics. I also find it interesting that this was a boss-rush game before that became popular.

Mirage Feathers is a mode 7 shoot 'em up (pretty hard personally), haven't complete a run yet, but will do it soon.

Those Touhou fangames are the peak ones for me:

Play GoDS and MPP in easy mode (this will also unlock the extras)

I am going to shill this game. I do think in a few years or so it will be known as an underrated work that was one of the good ones like Kunitsu-Gami that took people back to the PS2 Era with the exception that it has minimal flaws and it has a cool concept of possessing everyone as it's main mechanic you will need to use throughout, but it does have the Souls Gameplay in the sense of deflecting, rolling and using your skills, you also have main characters called Rarities, and you also have Civilians as your disposable pawns to throw around. You will need to use Possession a lot to control the battlefield and work everything in your favor.

There is excellent scores by Akira Yamaoka that feels very reminiscent of Jazzy Soundtracks he would make during the Silent Hill years sprinkled throughout. The Gameplay is very weird and experimental, Action Based, and if you like what you see, you like what you heard, I honestly can recommend this game, it's one of those oldschool era games in such a positive way that it almost feels like a time-capsule that will age better in the next 20 years than the PS2 games have aged today. It also has the lead director and producer from Siren, Gravity Rush who were behind this, even the lead writer of Silent Hill. It's a fun game to play, and the environments are interesting. It's a Japan Studios game of what used to be made back in the day.

Alright back to shill some games that I really have taken a liking to. One Hentai VN, two Action Games, and a Nintendo game series that often gets overlooked. No it's not Splatoon but it's close.

A.Wo Long Fallen Dynasty- If you liked Stranger Of Paradise or Sekiro you will like this game and vice-a-versa. In all honesty I tried Nioh and could not get into it due to it's slow nature and it kind of being less aggressive even the 2nd game while better did not fit my style of aggressive and defense play. But Wo-Long does, I would tell everyone the reason for the mixed reviews on Steam is because everyone played the demo and had issues with the 1st boss that was then patched to be much easier to deal with in the final game. The Demo is not the real representation of the game because the 1st boss has been nerfed. It does not deserve to be a mixed rating at all, it had it's issues on launch but it's fixed now, I have had an amazing time playing the complete edition on a massive discount. The performance issues are RARE and it's really well done on being rewarding for parrying and attacking alongside the Weapon Skill Tree, and using magic spells that feels reminiscent of Stranger Of Paradise and also the dodging/parrying does as well. It really deserves more attention. It's not about sneaking or stealth killing, as much as it is, being able to deflect and hit, and use weapons to your advantage. I would recommend this more to Fromsoft and newer fans of Koei Tecmo than that of Nioh honestly due to enemies being more fair. Nioh I kept getting killed by Arrow Archers and it did not feel as satisfying to me.

I also will give some tips here to make everyones lives easier.

1.Block + Use Spells when you unlock it in the 2nd chapter(This is similar to Stranger Of Paradise to use your skills and then go after your opponent)

2. Begin using O when it flashes Blue as a Visual Cue or just as it's about to hit you, blocking does help build up your courage and lowers your enemies courage making them easier to finish off.

3. Look around the map and try to get all flags on the map to level up your fortitude and REST before going to face the big boss(Can avoid the level 15 Wolf in the tutorial level). It will make your life a lot easier. As the Flags will help your fortitude and having the big flag will use this as a checkpoint and resting point. Flags do help your courage meter.

B. Sekiro- Last Fromsoft game I have ever played was Armored Core 6 and I can say that Fromsoft game's are very fair and definitely are not hard at all once you get the basics down. I feel like with Sekiro the Parry, Block and even the Attack and using a Finishing move was way intuitive than usual and it does feel like an evolution of Tenchu as a whole. It really feels satisfying to play this like I am able to do swift kills in the sky, kill orcs and various powerful enemies by stealth killing them before i encounter the rest of the enemies in the game. Honestly this game makes me believe Fromsoft has game design down to where anyone can learn their games and as long as they like the style of Gameplay they will have fun with it. Sekiro is this for me, it's based on Stealth, Aggressiveness and very much taking advantage of lowering the spiritual meter on your opponent through good usage of the mechanics given to you. It's not one where you can be entirely aggressive like Wo-Long, but it's not slow either, definitely quicker than previous Fromsoft games, but slightly behind Wo-Long. If you like Wo-Long you will like this, and if you like Sekiro you will like Wo-Long because it's much more aggressive and less on stealth but on deflecting.

C. Pikmin 3 and 4. Yes I am going to recommend these games because I know many who were like me and played Pikmin 1 and 2 but felt they were too hard and not explained well or they did not feel like there was much in them. I can say after beating 3 and 4 that these games are worth your time if you like Real Time Pikmin Building and management, or if you like the Pikmin 3 demo you will like the full game. Pikmin 3 feels like a soft reboot of the Pikmin series making it easier for newcomers and those who were put off by the Pikmin 1 and 2 entries. While 4 builds off of 3 and basically combined aspects of 1 and 2. There is no timers anymore on 4, and on 3 it's very easy to beat the game in 30 days as when you go underground time moves slower and there is less levels to play with. On 4 there is so much to do Post-Game and even challenges that it basically feels like Nintendo had too much fun and added over 40 to 50 hours worth of content, while the main game can be beaten in 15-20 hours easily.

I would recommend Pikmin 3 and 4. I definitely feel confident about Pikmin's future after beating both.

D. Namaiki- A really well written Hentai VN by WAFFLE infamous for Funbag Fantasy(which has good writing and an actual world will need to read this in the future) and it's not just about the sex it has some story elements and reasons for things happening, but also has fun sex scenes that are not plain at all and are really nice to read as a whole with Magic and the Fantasy of Dark Elf Ladies. You have the Muscular Tomboy in Sheila, the Mature and Sexy Daino, the cute petite small loli Idol in Supra. I would give a recommend if anyone likes Fantasy VN Hentai with Dark Elves as a theme. It really is nice artwork and VA with every scene almost. The VN is about 8-12 hours long and it's linear but it's a fun time all around with some sweet music and scenarios.

That is all I have for now. I am going to be playing more Action Games, more VN's and see what else I can recommend out here for gems. But please try them out if you like what I wrote.

Funny enough it's coming out on Steam. I wonder if it plays like Blazblue or Guilty Gear or Melty Blood.

Eh its pretty much like degenki bunko more so than those games tbh since its pretty much just crossover fighter shit no different than the average smash game pretty much the majority of fighting games similar to anime are just fucking commercials for the original ips. :P

OT

I just played and beat Assault Spy it would not be unfair of me to say that from a Japanese Developer named Wazen who worked on DMC that it plays like DMC and is very much worth it if you like DMC, Bayonetta or even Onechanbara and those kinds of games. It brings a really good challenge and even the bosses feels like Souls Difficulty in a satisfying way. I also like the fact with Asaru I could use my Briefcase and Umbrella to do midrange moves or even give that solid impact hit and use Overclock for some nice style points. Or Amelia Smith that plays closer to Dante and some sort of Superhero character with the Guns, Hitting and even a Galactic Smash move. I found the story mode short but good fun and also the bosses satisfying still on both. I would give it a recommend buying if you like these kinds of games to begin with as it feels like it is difficult in an oldschool way.

Also there is another game being made soon by him called Mightreya that everyone should wishlist and keep their eyes on if they like this game.
