From what I've seen, as a professional pinkwashing unit basically, Sweet Baby Inc. loves to put surface level 'progressive' tokenism on shitty scripts to make it sit better with people, the Ghostbusters 2016 trick. That's the gist of it right?
Their 'best' works are on FOTM Snoy titles like the Spiderman games and Goy of Slop: Rolling Rock or w/e the fuck. Nothing else is even a game that people try to pretend is any good.
Not only that but looking at the Sweet Baby Inc curator page, literally every single game they worked on has been a trashfire in terms of sales, popularity, and even has lead to studios bleeding out a lot due to insertion of politics, terrible art, awful storylines that only catering to the 0.03% as the Global Audience is not working lol i mean i wonder why?
I can think of a basic reason as to why many studios in the West are doing this. It's because CEO's of all these Western Companies do not play Video Games at all like 0% and have no clue how to hold a controller at all. Many CEO's are like this guy here who left recently.
All they, including the elderly Boomer investor class know is number go up=good, number go down= bad and it takes a few years for them to notice that it's a failure and bleed money before they are ousted for someone with actual experience in the industry and knows how it works(like Phil Spencer who has experience as a Game Developer) and not a businessman/investor con artist. As a reminder Sweet Baby Inc's founder is best friends with Zoe Quinn and we have come full circle where not only are they hated now, but the Democratic Party is very hesitant to back them and put money into them knowing this has costed them elections, hugest one being 2016, midterms 2018, and barely could win in 2020 and even now they still struggle to gain anything, to where they fear voters pulling for Trump, especially Diversity pulling for him. Sweet Baby Inc and anything like it is an automatic W for the opposition and an automatic L for those who support it, much like how everyone in the industry kept bleeding for taking easy money supporting ESG with Larry Fink but forgot they had to make money back in the long term. If you notice all the industries are in a freefall and are trying to stem it right now. So i do think we will begin to see major pushback in the decade, not because they decided woke is bad now(all they care about is money), but because they like any other Capitalist or any other investor bet very badly on a bad horse and are now having to fight for survival due to the massive amounts of debt they are under. Also fun fact, i am not even a Republican or a Democrat, but an independent but i do find it funny when Democrats have been tonedeff the last decade on cultural issues when they used to have it down to a T.
