I don't know any personally but I have certainly become wary of them. From how a lot of them act online, it makes many people very wary of them. Sure, Twatter is not real life, but the takes they have? Geez... it's insane. Who would want to be around someone that might flip like that over a mistake like the wrong pronoun?

And the amount of cringe that I see when they are having an online chimpout, going full retard and not to mention all the effort they put into witchhunting literally random people is really fucking sad. How do they even find the time and will to put so much effort into this shit. It just shows how worthless they truly are since they spend their life spamming and false reporting people on Twatter.

I can easily fill my time with work, studying shit I am interested in or play old video games or those 2-3 new ones that came out in the past 5 years that aren't complete shit. Imagine the salt those fucking retards will be having when Twatter falls and they realise all that time and effort they wasted into creating that shithole of a woke "safe space" will turn into nothingness and all the time they wasted will never return.

I think it really goes down to lacking a purpose. Pyschology has shown that we are literally programmed to be productive and the happiest people are (truly) productive in some way; our brain rewards us for working (especially men). It seems like social media has really given people a false purpose in accumulating clout or attention, so the endeavor is also empty and fruitless. I can't truly believe that the majority of these people that claim to be label X, Y, and Z are genuinely what they describe themselves as, especially with the MA'AM meme (very clearly not lol).

Time is definitely better spent being productive gaining knowledge, or doing work, or honing skills, but social media really turned everyone into weird, crazy, attention-seeking sheep. It's kinda scary. Sometimes I find myself getting that far-off feeling of wanting more likes or views on my art, but then I have to slap myself back to reality and remind myself to just focus on improving myself and having fun (also I'm just a nobody, so that's a factor in it). It really affects everyone in some way, but much more for some...

Like AK-12 said, imagine the mass hysteria when the outlet for attention disappears... would be insane.

Exactly. Purpose is essential. I work with software development and have been feeling unsatisfied with this kind of work. It can be soul sucking in its own way (as many jobs can be). I chose to start focusing on other skills. Whether these will amount to anything that's a separate issue, but people need a focus, an objective, something positive and self-motivating to aim for. It doesn't even have to be something amazing.

Like @AK-12 said, these things fill your time, distract your mind from bullshit. This is why I have said before that I can't quite get how these people can live like that. I try filling my time with good things when I'm off work and, even then, I can feel pretty bad and depressed when reading news/seeing bullshit unfold. These other activities I have been doing help me a lot.
