i disagree on the point of denouncing.
mainly because
1. it deviates efforts from everything else
2. even if they are fake if you denounce them it like giving credibility to what the enemy is saying

the best course of action you have is completely ignoring those that make them and feign ignorace about it.

I agree, but keep in mind I never said to denounce every single person but to make a statement against violence and death threats in general kind of like guidelines because on sites and comments you can be held liable. Which i will specify if you are very popular authority figure or siteholder. I should have been more specific about if it's popular people of a movement and not just ordinary posters. It's not anything new as sites and authority figures already do this already and know about enforcement against bad actors.

I really do hope people aren't treating this dude's Discord server like it matters.
This kabrutus dude seems like an idiot. Not only talking to journalists but changing how his server operates.
Give these people an inch, they take a mile. And he'll only have himself to blame for it.

People have been discussing this topic before kabrutus, and they'll do it way after kabrutus too. But something tells me that if something goes wrong with this dude and he announces "oh i give up" or some stupid shit like that, people will treat it like some big loss. I can only imagine the headache that'll become of dumbass downers going "oh he gave up, pack it up and give up!".

I have to slightly disagree, they are open to the message because of easy money and Positive PR. If a company knew that it could get away with awful practices of slave labor by saying Trans Rights = Human Rights or even donating to the organization for protections, having pastel flags and good they would and they are doing so. How it relates to Video Games is that the AAA industry has been concentrated in power for awhile now. They answer to investors and they know they have the customers money and their vote in the bag they also get extra money with ESG. So they feel like they could do whatever they want especially with DLC, Battle Passes and broken games on top. I will say Consumers are to blame for having blind trust in companies and not taking them to task when they do bad practices as a whole that can lead to paying more and getting less of an experience. Also by not spending their money on other smaller and medium sized companies as a whole. But i am glad to see people are waking up to this reality and by pulling their money away from these games and having blind faith they are having to make the company work in favor of people than investors, hopefully they begin to purchase games that are smaller or medium sized than to help concentrate things into just 10 AAA companies that are multibillion dollar entities.

Only way this changes if they fear the back lash from us more then they do the wokies, that's the issue, the fear the back lash from the woke minority Twitter freaks then the majority of actual gamers.
