The main problem is the fact that our people are not in the branches but I can say they no longer have excuses to hide behind anymore if the games flop. Modern Audiences died out and did not buy. It's just us and them now without us the games sell horribly. They have to cater to us and can not use excuses about growing up or making things for a different demographic. If they wish to have us pay it will need to be Uncensored not a toned down 1:1 parity and no longer telling Japanese developers what to do and what they can not do. Telling Japanese devs to self censor and work that is toned down is essentially not 1:1 which is why no one should buy it. It helps solve the problem because the Branches know and we all know it's not 1:1 it's essentially a neutered experience especially when they "talked to the creators" or are "working closely with creators" Why should we get a lesser experience when devs are being told what to make or create.

I think for Japan Gacha is just a substitute for the fact that Fanservice games barely exist on Console. Much like the people here who do the same thing. It still does not help everyone will get mad over Gacha but then not demand the same experience on Console and trying to work parity into it. We should all have the same great experience not have a lesser experience than what Japan gets. We know they would not accept it so why should we?
 
Give me Japanese subtitles in my games, and also get rid of the censorbars and mosiacs. I want 1:1.1 improvement. Japan can totally compete well in the American marketplace.
But to get back at the prudes and anti's I suggest getting rid of the english, it cuts costs of hiring a english "localization" translate team or employee and boost sales at the same time because English users that don't know Japanese will soon or will use a third party MTL anyways, the antis never will buy the game anyways.
Also, consider exploring different dialects for the characters to make it diverse, set the price of the game the same for equity, and be inclusive and add the fat nerd otaku who's secretly powerful in it. Last one I could recall was Itaru Hashida, he could beat Vegeta and Goku at once I reckon.
 
Freedom Wars is being remastered and is coming to steam. Aaaand they changed male and female that was in the original game to "Body Type" :hana-disgust:

 
I did my part in the Freedom War. Pirated this shit, not even gonna play it, just gonna seed it. Bandai Namco can gurgle my nutsack.

Interesting, I did not know if it was, it's just odd because I noticed nobody discussed it when it released on PC. But it looks like it took everyone a few days. Hopefully someone makes an Decensorship DEI mod to get rid of these characters and things.
 
I am pretty interested in Kingdom Come 2 drama. There are a lot of grifters defending the game despite making a canonically straight character into a gay guy, unable to attack Jewish synagogues, we waz kangz shit, NTR, in a medieval game. This will cause a schism.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if they did. (I mean the homo's covered yuffie up in this remake) I won't touch these final fantasy remakes with a 10 foot pole so I am not sure about those particular examples. The only modern square game I would even consider is MAYBE the Star Ocean 2 remake.

you FUCKED UP before you even evaluated this game for purchaseability. You should not have performed that evaluation. You are perpetuating the cycle of abuse

So the new Monster Hunter is out and all the normally anti-DEI people are shilling it to high heaven for some reason despite having body types instead of sex again. I'm so tired of the incredibly low standards of gamers.

That's the problem overall. It's because Mangalawyer, Grummz, these types of people have really low standards and you can obviously tell most of the Anti-DEI people are 3rd world, they do not play any real games, and usually shill any game as long as it has Sexy Lady and Fanservice they will literally forgive all the bad parts. Even if the Gameplay is easy and literally braindead. They do not care. The main issue with these types is they have low standards like you mentioned. They do not value the Gameplay or the Writing or the Characters. They are a volatile market because even though they might buy initially, they do not really commit to anything which is why when you usually see them shill Nexon Live Service Games from SK or a Chinese game and reword these to mean Asian Games because China and SK are basically bottom of the barrel bad compared to Japan and America even at their worst. It's why most people joke about the Post Game Orgasm and these games having high reviews, high shilling, high ratings, but afterwards it just basically dies off because those people never pay beyond the initial game and do not have attachment or value story or characters. SK/CN users are like this. It's very artificial. Monster Hunter Wilds will go through the same thing. It will have high initial sales but then fall downward and the profits will just straight up die because nobody will be buying that MTX.

The character creator in MH Wilds doesn't even have an option to change sex/body type. You select from a selection of presets (half of them male, half of them female) and then customize further from there.
Not that I'm making this point to defend them, I'm just pointing out that the character creator actually lacks any "Sex" or "Body Type" options.
