Well I picked up tokyo clanpool when it released today on gog. (compile heart drpg that finally came to out in english turns out compile heart censored it and cut content. The queers took out the ether induction minigame (touching) I just hope gog will give me a refund

I was informed that East Asia Soft didn't have a choice but to censor the minigame. I guess even GoG and Nintendo's Asian English branch wouldn't allow them to release the game completely uncensored.

On one hand, it feels bad to pay for a censored game. On the other hand, I know that East Asia Soft has good intentions, and does what they can to make sure games don't get censored.

God damn it, and I was looking forward to Tokyo Clanpool. Guess I'm taking that off my wishlist. Not gonna support East Asia Soft either if they're gonna be like this now.

What happened was EAS felt like they had to censor to get on Steam and Nintendo due to not only NOA but also Nintendo Of Asia told them to remove the minigame, Steam denied(Mary). Panicked and basically kept the cut content on GOG because they thought GOG would not accept it.

I am certain on EAS Discord server they can come out with a patch or an updated version. But yes this release was botched just overall. Hopefully everyone can try again and put it on Steam cut with a patch off site and GOG/JAST with the Uncensored version. Consoles can get the censored version because Nintendo forced their hand. They will learn to do better next time.

They better put out an official update to restore the cut content soon, or East Asia Soft is going on my shit list.

I do not think this was intentional. But they do need to release an updated version for GOG that has the minigame in it. GOG has allowed everything. For future reference i hope they know they could have always deleted the Minigame and brought it back through an offsite patch like Criminal Girls did on Steam.

Gog has been pretty decent about allowing some ecchi and adult content on their site. I guess to have an advantage by stocking stuff that the homo's at steam won't carry. And you can even get the adult patches for games on the store page for said game without having to hunt for offsite. They probably feel they need to do stuff like that to compete.

Yeah it really looks like they got stuck between a rock and a hard place.

For me I feel like this but with Konami. I just would like the final MGS collection so I can buy and then leave Konami. But for Monster Hunter it seems like it would be a long time before they even remaster it or bring the rest of the series over.

150k tax euros for a project that span 3 years and was actually majorly funded by the Norwegian government is nothing to get angry about imo.

Sure it's one of those examples that are pretty meh, but that's the price to pay if you start supporting game development across the entire union.. and they sure as hell overpromised when handing that game in.

I'd say it'd be worse to see the EU not support any gamedev. The people in that thread are indeed cringe though.. they know they can't ever prove that dustborn is a "good" game.. so they rather blame GoG for allowing non-game owners to put reviews & star-ratings on the game.
