Madeline_Gregory B supp: Gregory talks about the abuse he suffered from his parents when he was a child, he specifically talks about beatings and finally being sold by his parents.

Veyle_Nel C and B supp: (C16: The localization added this line: "My Sombron is not your papa." out of nowhere.) (B21: "Because we are not siblings" another random line added out of nowhere.).

Zelestia_Madeline A supp: The localization removed the scripted character that is scripted to be replaced with MC's name.

Zelestia_Veyle A supp: Zelestia offers to warm Veyle's body with hers. The localization changed it too warm her "hands".

I'm really glad to say that all the goals set at the beginning of the project are now completed, i know that there are areas of the game not covered (like for example the "Ally Notebook" which after taking a quick look has 100% censorship) but i'm a little burnout right now, i'll take a week and then see how i feel about continuing working on this.

Been waiting for this - thank you so much for all your time and effort to restore this game, your work is very much appreciated and surely will be for many others who come in the future.
It would be nice to see everything uncensored, if for no other reason than the removal of dissonance between the other stuff and your work, but all of the truly important stuff is fixed now, so please do what you feel is best for you.
And now, I can finally play the game.

Oh just checked, Atmosphere reintroduced and issue with FE Engage mods in their v1.5.3, so you should use a previous version or v1.5.4 which is in "pre-release".

Yeah the Gamebanana situation was retarded at best but after looking at some things and getting some "information" i figured out, what i still don't understand is LL because they have nude mods for a "certain" game , so in the end i'm just glad i've discovered this place.

I'm excited to see that all the support conversations have been uncensored! This patch has been a godsend for someone who was growing sick of the prevailing censorship that has been plaguing modern localization. One thing that I want to ask, though, is if you're curious about checking the boss conversations of the game. I know that you mention that you are having burnout with this game, so you don't have to continue working on this patch since what we have is more than enough. However, I noticed while playing the Fell Xenologue (specifically the FX 6 in Maddening, still struggling but having fun!) that the boss conversations between the royals seem to be heavily altered. One example of this is Fogado's death quote. To paraphrase, the localization script went like this: Look like this [death] one may stick. However, when listening to the Japanese voice acting, not only did the dialogue seem to be longer than the localization, but I can distinctly hear Fogado say "Arigatou", which is not translated at all in the localized script. I was wondering if you were interested in checking the boss conversations of FX 6, since barely anyone is talking about it.

Hi, I'm new to this kinda thing but from what I understand, to use this on a modded Switch, I need to put the "romfs" folder into the "atmosphere/content/<titleID>" path, correct? I've done this, my Atmosphere is 1.5.4 (pre-release), but when starting a new game, nothing is changed, like form to sex, maddening to lunatic, they're still "form" and "maddening". I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, if anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it

Hi, I'm new to this kinda thing but from what I understand, to use this on a modded Switch, I need to put the "romfs" folder into the "atmosphere/content/<titleID>" path, correct?

The ID should be 0100A6301214E000 and the folder needs to be called "atmosphere/contents/<titleID>" with s, or at least that's what this page says https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/extras/game_modding/.

Sorry I mistyped, it is "contents". I have another mod for Engage installed in the same folder and that's been working fine, I'm just not sure why this one isn't.

My game text is definitely "English (NA)" as well.

Edit: I fixed it. My dumbass copied romfs folder to the folder above "0100A6301214E000" lol. Sorry for the confusion

Bro. That's so hype! XC2 is actually my number one favorite game! I'm not surprised to hear that localization has changed some conversations, but I figure that the localization of the Xenoblade series is more tamer than in other games. Are the changes that bad, though?

Localization changed a lot of things but in terms of censorship, idk the extent of it, I do remember only a few things being censored like for example Sheba wanting a harem.

V2.0 is up! This will probably be the last version for the patch, as all the text files except the chapter files have been checked.

I'm not going to check the chapter files as I'm pretty much done with Engage and I don't see any "room" for censorship in the chapter dialogs for how dull they are, but of course NOA would probably be able to surprise us all...

So after about 150 hours of playing this game on and off, I finally beat my English copy of Fire Emblem Engage. I'm looking forward to replaying this game again with the Uncensored patch so that I can actually start reading the support conversations. Thank you cris for all of your hard work towards making this patch despite the ridiculous controversy that came out of it from Gamebanana. I'm excited to see the other projects that you may do in the future, if you still have the desire for it.

And yeah it was exhausting, I was only going to work on the supports and wake-ups at the start, but after the Gamebanana shit I decided to check almost everything and oh boy the lines I found...

The XC2 H2H mod is here, but it ended up being just a small mod XD, I edited that thread with some useful links to other mods and stuff for anyone who wants to play or create mods for XC2.
I might check out the XC2 side quests since they're the only thing not covered by any other mod, but we'll see...
