Btw i really need to rant about 2 things:
I just can't with the fucking emblem bond supports, i did Byleth file and 80% of them were so dull and pointless wtf, who thought that giving each emblem 3 "supports" with all characters would be a good idea?
And i call them "supports" but the C/B tiers are literally 2 lines and the A tier 4 lines, its impossible to make anything with that.
So, there are 38 emblem "support" files, 19 of them have 288 entries and the other 19 have 40 entries (the _ex files for Fell DLC characters) making a total of 6.232 entries (all voiced).
Like why waste all that development time and money on that and not make something that ppl would love like S-supports and paired endings between all characters maybe?

I also want to rant about the wakeups and don't get me wrong, i like them, specially the S-wakeups ASMR but you're only going to be able to see less than half of them in a playthrough because you can only see 1 per battle.
There are 210 wakeups (not counting the 70 S-wakeups nor the Fell DLC wakeups) so you would have to fight 210 times to see the C/B/A ones XD, i think a regular player wouldn't even be able to see them all in 2 playthroughs...
Wow, that's a lot of work for things that a lot of players wont see. Usually I'm a fan of devs putting a lot of effort into things that they know a lot of players wont see because it's an indicator of wanting to make a game that flows and allows players to find things themselves and that they're dedicated to making the whole game good not just the parts that most players find.

In this case however, I feel like that effort could have gone elsewhere. Maybe towards making the system for the well a bit better and not based on complete random chance, giving more lines for the characters to say in the Somniel between missions, more level up or combat lines so you don't hear the same thing every time because that gets annoying, paird endings like you said. The effort they put into all of those lines really could have gone towards improving the game in a number of places.

I presume this uncensor patch was finished so quickly while Fire Emblem if's translation patch entered indefinite hiatus in 2017 because the creator of this patch is just editing some of the localized dialogue, while Fire Emblem if's fan translation tried to translate the entire game from the ground up, starting development before the English version's official release?

Edit: Holy shit! Team if actually left hiatus recently, and started developing the translation again! I figured the game was never going to get translated.

Basically that, this patch only covers supports/wakeups and a few other small things like MC paired endings, the modding process is really easy and i didn't have to develop any tools, also working with the English script is faster than doing it with the Japanese version like Team IF.

Edit: Holy shit! Team if actually left hiatus recently, and started developing the translation again! I figured the game was never going to get translated.
From what I remember, Fire Emblem if was also butchered way harder than Engage which was what lead Team if to retranslate the game from scratch after seeing the mess they had on their hands.

-The official localization was full of censored words, romance deleted from multiple characters, shitty dialogue that disrupted the tone, and whole conversations completely changed specially support conversations, those purposeful changes cause inconsistencies in the script and even erases some of the characters purposes and personalities.

-This Uncensor patch is NOT a complete rewrite (that would take half a year or more LMAO) and focuses on characters supports, emblem supports, wakeups, paired endings, battle and post-battle lines *for now* trying to bring the English script closer to the Japanese one.

-While the main goal of the Uncensor patch is already accomplished with all the supports/wakeups uncensored in v1.7 this patch is still a work in progress as there are emblem supports and a lot of other things to check like DLC stuff for uncensoring.

-We would appreciate feedback from bugtesting, proofreading and informing us about any other parts of the english script that are censored and we missed!

-In the future we would like to translate the patch to other languages but in order to do that, we need someone that actually speaks the language in the team to bring a proper translation, so if you want to help bringing the patch into your language don't hesitate to contact us. (There is a small group translating this patch to Spanish right now!)

PD: Skill names are handled by "skill.bytes.bundle" file, any other mod that modify this file is not compatible (I know a few). The best solution to avoid incompatibilities is deleting "skill.bytes.bundle" file from the patch (is only used for the Louis skill name change), i also believe this file is prone to be incompatible with other game updates.

All Jean, Clanne, Fogado, Etie, Veyre and Lapis regular supports including all their wakeups left. (We reach 60% of the regular supports done in V1.5!)
Corrected 2 lines Framme_Clanne C support. (thx to Kyonko802 for noticing this one)
Goldmary: Lvlups, class change, bondlvlup, in battle and post battle lobby texts lines from Goldmary. (Almost all lines from Goldmary were censored or changed wtf)
Changed "Maddening" to "Lunatic" in the difficulty selection menu.
Changed any mention of "form"/"body type" to "sex" in character creation (BIG FUCK YOU TO THE RETARDS PUSHING THIS)
Changed "English (North America)" to "Uncensored English (NA)" in the language settings so players don't get confused.

TUTORIAL: How to extract, modify and import game files

First you need UABEA(https://github.com/nesrak1/UABEA/releases/tag/v5 make sure to download the nightly build at the top) to open .bundle files, when you open an original file it will ask to open it in a "FILE" or in "MEMORY", select "FILE" and it will create a new file to not modify the original, you will need this file later, then after this click the "Info" btn and then select the "TextAsset" element, click "Plugins" btn and then "extract.txt" option.

It will extract a text file but in order to not ruin the file's hex bytes/pointers u need to use (MSBTeditor) https://github.com/IcySon55/3DLandMSBTeditor/releases to modify it(Make sure to click "All files" when searching with MSBT to be able to see the files).
Editing is as easy as changing the text directly (you dont need to know hex) but you need to be careful about this little thing, for example this is an original entry:

As you can see almost all the entries end in 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 or 04 00 02 00 00 00 00 00.

But when you edit any entry or even press anything like Ctrl+C the last part cuts out to 04 00 00 00 (or 04 00 02 00 00 00) like you see in the image below and you need to change this back to the original numbers after your done editing that entry or it will cause a duplicate text bug ingame.

When you're done, open the file that you created at the start with UABEA and repeat the first step but now selecting the "import.txt" option and after that you have to save, close that bigger tab and save again as shown in the images below.

It will save the changes in a new file which needs to be renamed like the original .bundle file in order to work. After all this you have to create a folder structure like in the original files.(You can look at my mod's folder structure as reference)

PD: I recommend 48 characters max per line and 2 lines max in regular support files so the text looks good in the text box, if you put more characters the text will get "squished".
If you want to extract the full game files and the dlcs/updates you have you can easily do it with emulators, for example in Ryujinx just right click the game and select "Extract Data" and then "RomFS".


Patch install and compatibility

Right now the patch should work in Ryujinx and CFW Switch.
I recommend playing in the latest game version (2.0) and you can use your current save file.
In order for the patch to work you need to use Uncensored english (NA) text setting in-game.
The patch only touches files inside "fe_assets_message" folder, and every file is independent so if you don't like something from the patch like for example Celine supports, you can just delete those files and enjoy the rest of the patch!
Since V1.4 "skill.bytes.bundle" file is also used so be aware of incompatibilities with other mods or older/newer game updates. (More info in the V1.4 Changelog).

In-game, select the English(North America) text setting, after that, start a new game and look at the texts when selecting male or female MC, you will notice for sure!

You can continue playing the save you already had, no need to start over.

I'm pretty sure Yunaka S-support was already romantic, but maybe i'm wrong, you can check it by comparing this spreadsheet which has the uncensored supports and wakeups with this page which has a lot of the original lines in Eng and Jap

I'm halfway through the Emblem bond supports...
It's taking me a lot more time than what i thought due to all the censored lines i'm finding and the new EX files from the last update, i guess i'll make a list with the worst ones for the release.

Btw just 2 quick things from the file I'm doing right now...
First time i see a "horny/narcissistic" line from Goldmary not censored, and she gets fucking friendzoned! :shinobu_dab:

I have no reasonable idea why they changed swiming to fishing.

Maybe its a misstranslation? Are Swimming and Fishing similar words in JP?
