I think the general thread should have free reign for open discussion (provided people stick to the subject at hand) since the purpose of it is to collect evidence but the dedicated threads should be filtered so that they only include examples/links/etc.on a different note i feel like some thread etiquette for those should be established to keep them clean and easy to find info on persons.
Not sure what that'd entail but just some general guide for what responses should be, so we aren't wasting a new users reading time...
only problem is that's hard to define
completely agree there. Thats why I think the Index + Localizer specific threads are importantthe average joe has a very short attention span so we should focus on making the info as easy for them to access as possible.
will do, i was looking at those while writing that postfor starters, I think mods should delete stuff like burger meister's post in the Meru thread because they achieve nothing aside from filling it with nonsense and derailing the conversation.
Both Bamco and Squeenix outsource allot of their localizations to a company called 8-4. That trash company is a rabbit hole of its own. They have allot of connections in the industry. It will fall on deaf ears if it's just one person doing it. I have been writing a lot to Bamco and Square, and they still keep carrying on the same way for years.
Bandai Namco only give like the standard Pr reply, and Square Enix you get absolutely no reply.
That comes up when you decide to click "Like" to open on a new tab for whatever reason, Kiwifarms has the same thing.can't + just pressing like or clicking the reaction you want will do it automatically.
tbh i have no clue what make that come up in the first place
Generally the best way to go about archiving images is to just download the images onto your PC and then upload them directly to the forum, that way the image won't be fucked if someone decides to delete it on their end later down the line.looks like that image was actually an embed to a now delete tweet meaning that it was never posted on the site and therefore is lost media
this is why archiving evidence is so important people
yeah we use the same software, can't tell you why xenforo does that thoThat comes up when you decide to click "Like" to open on a new tab for whatever reason, Kiwifarms has the same thing.
