Gatekeeping is strictly necessary. I think if you have ever heard of Raging Golden Eagle you would understand why being welcoming to groomers like that guy isn't a good idea.
If you want to fight, why not move to a separate thread? This thread is called "Why do people hate Vshojo?" and not "Why do we hate user X?"

Anyway, I'll stand by what I said: silencing someone because they have a different opinion is gay and insecure. As long as no rules are broken it's fine, just let the community settle it. The community will gatekeep if necessary. Of course he can choose to stick around with his dogshit opinions if he wishes to continuously get shit on for them. And it's not like he ever seriously wanted to join anyway, just wanted to stir up shit. There was nothing to gatekeep. He seems to have gotten bored already anyway.

It wasn't the most obvious of the group to leave first. That'd be Vei by miles- but I'd say Silver wasn't too far off from being a second choice on that list even before the Wizard-Game fiasco. The past year I noticed Silver collabing less and less and generally being a bit of a solo-act even before joining VS. She always was one of those premier "Western Popular Lewdtubers" just short of being too whorey like Melody.
I'd go as far as to say Silver benefitted little from VS as a whole. The only girls to really benefit from VS have honestly been Nyanners and Ironmouse by far- and I'd say it's honestly Mousey who's gotten by far the most out of the organization. When Mouse joined she was a fraction of her current popularity now. Nyanners? Nyanners, like Melody were both already popular when the group formed. Hell in Melody's case I'd say she's on the decline even by today's standards compared to the others.
I guess you can say Apricot's benefited from joining. She was practically a nobody when she started and VS has served to signal boost her skanky ass pretty hard. Especially all those streams early on alongside Zen in the beginning.

Vei left because she wasn't actually making money because she just wasn't popular. Going indie gets rid of that cut VS was taking and she recently signed up for Mythic, which is a sponsorship agency company. She'll be able to use them to set up sponsorship deals.

I'd put it up more to the fact her interests are with people outside the company. (her boyfriend) Conveniently the OTHER person to leave VS happens to also have a boyfriend. Silver was the black sheep.
I'mma make my call now that Zen is the only other one who'll leave. If Ironmouse was gonna leave she would've already.
