After reading through the Japanese and seeing it against what was written on the 8-4 end. I will not blame Japan for completely avoiding the Western Market and keeping games in their home country with AA titles, completely uncalled for and a low blow. American Translation companies in Video Games as a whole are 4th world tier in culture, all they can do is be disrespectful and dishonest. American Translators can not do a good one to save their own life and deserve the low pay they get and AI should be accelerated even further to replace their jobs so they can go back to working to something of their own paygrade.

It's amazing how the translation from other languages done on top of the American localization is always 1-on-1, BUT "it is impossible to do any 1:1 translation from Japanese to another language!!!".
And well, confirming that the Brazilian translation is trash too, I'm not even going to waste time downloading the pirated version, irmão br.

That's such a horrible excuse for piss poor work, lol. Its true there are concepts/phrases in Japanese that don't translate 1:1 in other languages, but these people are fucking up basic sentences that even Google Translate gets right. Its honestly pathetic.
Very cool and progressive of the localizers to make Lian's a bitch towards the protagonist. Why is it that localziers have to make all the female characters insufferable to watch?

The game's localization files are very easily accessible in the game files, they're in bundles in the game's "StreamingAssets" folder. If anyone is interested in starting a re-translation project it should be pretty easy, just gotta export the files from those bundles then import them back in.
Depending on how baffling the localization is while I play the game, I might just try doing it myself.

A common tactic of the deceitful is to ban and to accuse the enemy of what they are doing or like one other post mentioned is to exaggerate claims and strawman the other person's argument because they know they are in the wrong like we are noticing in the thread. The best thing anyone can do is
1. Organize curators around badly translated and censored Japanese Games like Kabrutus is doing, get followers to follow them.
2. email the creators on the Japanese end from their own website to tell them the situation and show examples of the differences between the Japanese and English versions to show how heavily they deviate from the original script. Maybe posting a few times to Social Media in Japanese might help as well.
4. Keep attacking the defenders who are tourists and show evidence to the contrary
5. Do not try to debate them anymore. It's time to just keep fighting back and be relentless.
6. If the creators decide not to do anything despite emails and do not respond, let them fall. They will either keep it in Japan and we will just fantl or they will do the thing and force a retranslation of the script from 8-4 or they will begin to automate the process with AI from Japan
