What is your main way to watch your favorite Chinese cartoons? Do you torrent or do you use a streaming service (if so which one?). Do you pirate or do you shill out to the FuniRoll Anime Complex?

Personally, I used to torrent but I later switched to 9anime. I like that it has a watchlist that makes it easy to keep track of when new episodes of the seasonals I'm watching are out. It's also compatible with a browser extension that automatically updates MAL for me.

Chinese cartoons?

Not sure if we are allowed to talk about torrenting because it can fall under breaking us law. I want a clarification before i start sharing torrent sites. But it is my preferred way. But then i give back by getting figures.

torrenting, and then I use Jellyfin to sort it all and keep track of what I watch.
It's really handy, automatically gets the metadata (I didn't make the names english, give it the airing date, add thumbnails). 10/10 would recommend.
Also really simple to set up and its locallyhosted so not like you need internet to use it :p

The Chinese cartoons bit was a joke. Also while I'm not a mod, I don't think talking about torrents is illegal, just linking to torrents are.

Nice. I used to use Taiga for torrents. I stopped primarily because I was running out of space even though I got a massive hard drive but I could look into Jellyfin.

it isn't a torrenting service its a media server.
It just displays and lets you watch/manage the stuff you've already downloaded.

Oh. So it's like Plex then?

I google a funny little anime and click on the first funny little link with a funny little episode

I mostly watch it sometimes on twitch. Sometimes vaughnlive and Tubi TV.

I completely forgot about this! Do they still air series often? I know Twitch is extremely haram these days, but it wasn't always this bad, and these anime watch parties were a great way to experience the platform at its best.

I remember watching way back when Crunchyroll was doing this and watched few of the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and Gabriel DropOut streams. Experiencing chat's reaction during certain moments in each film was incredibly enjoyable.

There is one that I watch it on. But the subs are in German I believe. The last one that I watched on there was Sword Art Online Alicization uncensored. But I know it's rarely. And they come on whenever.
