These are fan channels and also I would believe it if some were on the Shilling With Benefits. It's very weird how I have seen the third guys channel you linked as he is the most active and ironically I do not even view his channel but I do get it recommended to me.
They always do this, it's the standard M.O when they do not know Japanese and assume companies do not lie to them. You will see this in every single fandom. This is a common occurrence to where you will see it in 4ch /v/ threads(minus that shitposting and trolling) whenever the discussion is on localizations and you have those who will say "The localization is better and adds more character, The Japanese is bland" it's very very common for that to be the thing. But again they are more than likely trying to run defense for their corporation and think "if they get less sells then they will not bring it over" the reality is Localizers are replaced with someone or something better. As for the last point with Machine Translation, I do notice they are trying to focus on it being MTL and how it loses "Prose" and "Nuance" when the reality is that DeepL does not do that at all and it's not really a Machine Translation, it is a Neural Network AI that even the Localizers rely upon to do their jobs(MTL and AI are bad except when
we use it). It's ironic because it is more accurate than they are, and most people do not care about nuance and prose, when they care more about authentic and closeness within the Japanese language itself.
Believe me it's the same thing as when Anitubers existed and they have fans who will do the cult of personality thing, repeat what their authority figure says and then they basically are refuted effortlessly. They eventually will do something dumb and then get caught with something and their fanbases fizzle out. The best thing to do would be what
@Hexasheep93 mentions. Instead of focusing on things we can not change and what is happening. The best thing we can do is to promote channels that go after Localizations, Understand Japanese and really try to promote them so as long as they are not centrists and cave into the oppositional arguments when they are wrong. There will always be people trying to disagree or to be dishonest and harm them but by the end of the day they will gain followers who wish to have things as they are.
As much as I would hate to say this. Unicorn Overlord had the worst localization because it was 8-4 and was too flowery and not that accurate. In this situation with Metaphor people should post specific examples of this not being the case and the Localizer is dishonest and it deviates from character development or scenes that have omissions to them and they rewrite around them like they always seem to love doing for some reason. It will probably take a few days for everyone to look through it and to confirm it's accuracy or even if it creates the worst sins of Translations.
